thanks guys day 48 right now! getting soo close.

Pulled the girls out to take the extra T5 out of the middle of the bottom of our table. The buds have gotten a lot of help from it, but we decided to take it out since its near the end of flowering and it was burning some of our foliage.. not to mention making it twenty times harder to water. So here's some pics of all the girls enjoy.

Thanks for the awesome comments Bobbyjuana; make sure you check out my third grow. Im not updating it too much right now, still trying to get this one done, but as soon as i do that journals gonna be filling up with some pretty amazing pictures! Im really excited to try out the finished product on these babies, but we still have a little more time to go. Im impatiient. Thanks everyone for staying posted and all the awesome comments/info.

Thanks Jeb, thats one hell of a compliment! We take a lot of pride in our growing and try to do our best to get the best product. Its day 52 today and the colas are stacking on.

We are expanding genetics for the time being, figured we would grow at least one of each once, then by yield and final bud product we will choose the strains we will be keeping. As of right now our glorious list consists of::

Well we're not going big, we just figured might as well try out as many strains we can get our hands on, and then after that we are going to compare the smoke and decide to keep around a few of them while we get rid of the rest of them. But why not try all the genetics you can find? Only the best right?

yes i know that's exactly what I have been planning for years. Can't wait to see that querkle and did you ever get any more info on that grap rom? Could you maybe ask your source about it for me cuz I am dieing to know. Also i had something called purple romulan I wonder if it is related.(it wasn't purple

The source we had it from got it from someone else.. and he really isn't sure if it is the hybrid. He said he THOUGHT it was a purple phenotype of the original Romulan, but there's no way he can be sure. Thats shitty man, i would be pissed if i got Purple Romulan and it didnt turn purple!! If my grape rom doesnt i will be very upset. lol. But definitely stay tuned to the next grow and together we can try to figure out what it is... if its the same as yours... The Purple Rom you got, was that the Grape Krush crossed with Romulan? Or was that just info you found? Cuz that would be sick... DJ Shorts Grape Krush is amazing... so i would love that. But ill try to do some more research and let ya know.

And the Querkle is like... my favorite. It has fucking hard ass dense buds. The description says it can yield 3 to 4 ounces if you give it an extra couple weeks of flowering. My Q doesn't look like it will yield that much at all... but idk cuz when you touch the buds... they are literally rock hard. And just to forewarn you the Querkle smell is amazing up until about week 7.. where it kinda disappears. Subcool says this happens and that it should come back after curing. And its supposed to taste like sour grape koolaid. mmmmmmm.

well querkle is a hybrid of erkle which is notorius for being a low yeilder and slow grower but fantastic smoke. I've had some it was amazingly potent indica seriuously waking up the next day is impossible to wake up but it's great smoke. I just got it locally never grew it just sounded good and the price was right it was okay but I never had some good romulan cuz my romulan was a male last year. I got another sprout now but it doesn't look so hot. Anyways hope yours is a purple pheno of rom that would be crazy.

ya i grew urkle where i work. they say querkle can yield more. but im sure thats the space queen dominant pheno. the querkle were growing is the cali cut. it grows and looks just like urkle. just a little better yield. but not much. not quite as purple either. hopefully the smoke is just as good. idk if it can beat urkle but its gonna be close. i hope. where you from. if your local we can trade genetics. if your prob 215 i can hook u up with grape rom or any other that we mentioned.

Here is a link to a thread on a different site on Grape Romulan. A lot of people say they believe it is a certain 'cut' or phenotype, someone says its grapefruit x romulan, and then someone says its grape krush i think like you mentioned. There's tons of pics though- i actually dont think that the bud will turn purple. It seems like its a light green color with like purp trichs.. idk its crazy check it yourself.

So today is day 53, the buds are swelling and packing on with the colas. After tomorrow's 12 hour light cycle is done we are going to put the front row of our plants into darkness for 24 hours and begin our harvest. Im really excited for the buds to start dryin and curing, see what the final product turns out to be. I will try to take pictures of the five right before we put them into darkness, so check back for a picture update Tuesday.
