Yea, it has a lock on it, I was going to put some type of coupler between the dryer exhaust and add in a 2 inch hose with a fan sucking air out of the box into the exhaust to keep the smell away, that's why I was planning to go with a rubber maid box, for water I was going to put a 5 gallon gas tank (those red ones) with a drip system on top of the shelf. I planned to make it look like when it was open, all you see is a green box and a five gallon gas tank on top... I did plan to use a curtain at first since there is a wood frame just inside the top of that door, I can get power from the light that is inside with an adapter, and I was going to get a wireless temperature tool so I can keep an eye on it from inside my apartment.

The problem with doing it inside, which I can if I could figure out a way to keep the smell down, is that my wife's little brother and sister, and our friends and family like to come over and play video games and go to the pool almost weekly during the summer. The only time we ever open the laundry room is to do laundry or store stuff, I figured it was the perfect place to have a stealthy setup

That closet WILL stink and the area outside. I promise you if anyone walks by there during flower, they will know.

That is my biggest fear and the reason I'm considering to get an upstairs apartment when I renew my lease next week...

hahahaha, ok, no more on my setup, I'll start one hopefully Saturday or Sunday, now I just need to decide if I'm going to go with the laundry room or somewhere else, back to the drawing board

Thanks, hopefully I make up my mind asap. Gonna go pick up some meds today, hopefully the budtender can help me decide on a final setup, I'm still between this and a PC box for my first try. I wish I could do the double setup he has in our closet inside but odor is my biggest issue even though we can do it legally

ha ha baja no worries man, I know how hard it can be to get a question answered around here sometimes. Well guys I couldn't do the 20 bucks + 13 shipping for a booster fan, loot is soo tight right now, I opted for 2 dual pc fans. Figuring I can either use all 4 pc fans on top as the exhaust and the 2 desk fans for intake or just no intake whichever you guys think is better. I hope my poverty doesn't prevent me from making this system work. Thanks for the help guys.

Well I think more exaust and a passive intake would be better... Im no expert on that considering my temps have been at 98 with the doors shut... all FUCKING DAY!!!!!

My girl just said to even out the intake and the exaust... ( she makes a killer sandwich btw)

so probably would be best with all 4 new fans on top and the 2 desk fans on bottom, or maybe one dual pc fan ond one desk fan for each? hmm I pm u back btw.

Where? online or is it at a reg. store? thanks for any info.
please answer this cuz I can't find it for that cheap....

Uhhh, my pops told me this weekend that a passive intake would be the only neccesary thing, and it makes since. Kind of like Grizz said It will create a wind tunnel. an exaust fan will only pull X amount of CFMs and with a passive intake you ensure that when the fan needs more air to pull it can pull as much as it needs. That may not make sense but... Gravity bongs hit hard soooo:blsmoke:

I have no idea where to get mylar except if you go to walmart in the camping section and get emergency blankets. I think they're like a buck.

About the passive intake, ok so it's all you NEED but, would it help to make it an active intake? even though it would be overkill? maybe keep temps a degree or two cooler?

Well tomorrow is the day I want to make a decision on how to go about it, I wish I could do the dual rubber maid setup as well but for now I have to keep it cheap, simple and stealthy as possible. Good news today though, our budtender had a few seeds lying around that he found and gave 'em to me, 6 total, one is a Jack Herer because we literally picked it out of the jar when I got some, we won't know what the other 5 are until they're grown... Still plan to follow this thread and see how the buds came out

Thanks man I appreciate it. And good luck with yours. One last bit of advise. Make sure you get your grow spot up and running before you germ your seeds to make sure the temp and everything work out properly, especially if you decide to go hydro.
