Thanks, I'm definitely planning to have everything completely set up before these seeds see any water, I just hope at least half of them germinate and at least one of them is a female at this point

Yeah man I'm happy it's working, any bud would be a major plus.

Yea shipping is a bitch!. I have the emergency blankets up right now but its not the prettiest thing in the world. I like stuff to be neat but everything looks kinda messy with this project. I wanna start from scratch with a new fridge. I have to convince someone to give me one though.

Thanks man I appreciate it. And good luck with yours. One last bit of advise. Make sure you get your grow spot up and running before you germ your seeds to make sure the temp and everything work out properly, especially if you decide to go hydro.
Bomb advice. If you can do that you're big steps ahead of the usual game round these parts.

Craigslist always has fridges available pretty much anywhere. Just keep perusing until you find "THE" fridge ;) White paint will do you better than e-blankets my friend. Phenom and goaty did a pretty exhaustive experiment with PAR wattage, usable light, and how it reflects off real mylar, paint, eblankets, tin foil. . .was pretty sweet. Mylar was first, paint was second. Actually they had some of that SUPER expensive textured mylar for max performance and it underperformed the regular stuff. Purdy funny shit.

I was reading a fridge setup on here yesterday, it was turning out pretty good

On my way out to buy stuff to get started, can't wait to start germinating!

Honestly wish I did more research and a bit more work on my box before i started then I wouldn't have to try to keep on fixing my fuck ups along the way. Then again I guess if we never fuck up how can we ever learn what NOT to do?

By the time I'm done with this grow i'm going to have an amazing post titled: Shit to NOT do. And i have a feeling it'll be kinda long. Well hopefully not too long. I got a lot of good support here. Thank you all!!

Hey guy it's 3 day video day. Again I'm gonna post it here and on my videos post. I do this more for me so i have all the videos together on here in the other post but I put em on this one to share with you guys.
Ok so in this video I get a close up on a couple yellow spots. Looks like when I dripped nutes on them but I don't remember doing that this time. Any ideas on anything else that may have caused 'em?

On the plus side, something i failed to point out in this video but maybe someone with experience can see here, it seems to me that the first plant in the video is not only growing the 4 main colas that I pointed out in the other video(and a little in this one), but 2 I guess you might call them secondary colas? It's like the 4 main ones are growing out of the middle of that plant, and up from underneath theres one more on either side curling upward and racing for it's place amongst the rest. Is this possible?
I certainly hope so. I'll try to take some pics or video tomorrow showing this but if you can see what I mean let me know what you think. Thanks guys!!!

Oh also tonight before I left my babies for the evening I slightly bent the large fan leaves down a little to let those other 2 cola type thingies I mentioned get some light. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to show you what I mean.

Don't worry about your plants tangling up at this stage, especially since you topped. When I top for 4 colas my plants turn into a tangled masses of sprouting tops until several weeks into veg then they explode more often than not. The plant will do its thing dude. Just let er ride.

Those spots def look like burn. Those leaves were present I believe when you had the tinfoil in your box. Unless its immediate danger I always err on the side of "wait". None of your upper leaves are affected so I'm going to assume its something that happened in the past. Tinfoil can cause hotspots, those are burnt spots in your leaves. Don't sweat it though, plants yielding good product have been through worse.

I doubt your plant will get 6 colas but it does happen. The reason uncle ben's method works so well is the established lower branches grow larger quicker than the younger upper branches. The internode lower than the new highest internode catches up to the top 2 by the time they're established. I'm assuming that once those top tufts fully form up they'll outpace the 5th and 6th coming up from below. . .but who knows? Sometimes you can get 6, GL!

I gotcha bro. I was thinking they would all stay growing like they are and turn into 6 beauiful colas. lol one can dream. Yeah I'm not tooo too worried about the spots cause they're on the larger fam-type leaves so I figured it wouldn't mess up the new shit, I was just worried it might have been some kind of over feeding that I didn't see pics of. But alright I'll just let it go and see if theres any more issues.
SO, I was thinking this upcoming wednesday the plants are gonna be 5 weeks old. I was thinking of putting them into flower. They're a nice size for the box(and I keep hearing they'll double in size during flower) and I wanna make sure they dont outgrow it. At the same time I also wanna make sure that if I am lucky enough to get a fem out of this one it's big enough to gimme some herb for a little bit. So, basically my question is, do you think it's time?

Also when you start flowering how long is it usually before sex can be determined? And if it turns out that one is a male and the other a female, would I be able to take the male out and put the fem back into veg to grow bigger since there will be more room?
Thanks
:peace:

Doubling in size is the conservative estimate, yer working with bagseeds, I wouldn't expect double. Its not that their size doubles, everything stretches out to make room for bud. The more internodes your plant has, the bigger its going to stretch.

Flower whenever YOU want to man, its your grow. I'd wait until they were 1-2 inches below the top of the box. How many inches deep is your soil dude?

Not exactly sure cause I don't have them here but, I used a full eight quart bag for each plant.
Do you mean? the top of the top box? or the planter box?
I was thinking I'd like to at least sex them soonish. Can I put them on 12/12, sex them then go back to 24/0 with out doing harm?
BTW i may be gettng a booster fan today. Fingers crossed!!
