Clones would be a step up!Give it a go! You may never use seeds again!!!

Hey BOb ! Much respect seen you post some good advice and info on here . I<m having trouble finding an article explaining the stages of flowering . I have seen ppl say they are 3 phases the plant goes through . Is this true or do u have a good link explaining it.I<m on my first grow 4 weeks into flowering a sour diesel clone . It just seems to be forming flowers slowly but surely at this point it started flowering like a bat out of hell around week 3 it slowed and has been the same since .Pics posted on my page . + rep brother !

Well, I can't seem to find a suitable link that I would back up 100%, but IMO, there is 3 stages of a cannabis plant's life, seedling, vegetative, and flowering/budding...The seedling stage starts when the sprout breaks ground and ends when the first true leaves emerge...Vegetative stage begins here and ends when the first sign of sex appears, under 12/12...and flowering begins here and ends when the plant is cut down...pretty simple, in my eyes...I'll check on your pics right now! Thanks for droppin' by and for the rep!

if asking about the 3 stages of flowering it would be the push/stretch, bud flower development/production, seed development/production

of course most of us avoid phase 3

Organic is expensive. Used in moderation, chemical nutes do very well.

For veg, I use nutes with an NPK ratio of about 2-1-1(16-8-8 or 30-15-15). You can find bagged nutes with 16-16-16 and 21-0-0 very easily at Walmart(I did, yesterday.)

For flowering I use a ratio of 1-4-3, roughly. Low Nitrogen, higher Phosphorus and Potassium.

If you PM me, I usually reply within half a day. Questions are always welcome.

lol i have asda! withc is walmart...ul have to explain to me how the numbers work for the ratio im only growing one plant in my back garden i was wondering if i could use bone meal chicken poop etc ?

Since it is only August, it will most likely revert back to veg. It should not die, but it will cause unwanted stress...

You probably can, but there are so many organic nutes...just look for something with a higher N concentration for vegging, and something with a higher P & K concentration for flowering...

Unfortunately my Mastiff decided that my $300 Olympus camera looked like a bone so he decided to give it a few chomps, it's in for repair. I'll see if I can dig up a pic online.

Sorry to hear about that, but from what you've told me, it can be from over-fertilizing, or even a drastic lack of air circulation could cause this, in my experience...

No problem at all!
Most fertilizers will have an N-P-K rating displayed on the container/box, N meaning Nitrogen, P meaning Phosphorus, and K meaning Potassium. These 3 elements are the main nutrients required for a healthy plant. And cannabis requires a high concentration of Nitrogen during their vegetative stage...i.e. Miracle-Gro All purpose plant food, has an N-P-K of 24-8-16, this is suitable for cannabis in the vegetative stage because because of the higher concentration of Nitrogen (24%), and cannabis plants in flower require a higher concentration of Phosphorus and Potassium, i.e. Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom has an N-P-K of 1.5-4-5...
But since you seem to be heading towards the organic route I would recommend Advanced Nutrient's Iguana Juice or maybe even the General Hydroponic's rganic line! Hope this is clear and helpful enough!
