Need some Advice for new grow.

I have a 4x2x5 tent. I currently have a 600 w light with the coooled hood and a 440 cfm fan. I'm wanting to add another 600 watt on the side making it a total of 1200 watts and it'll cover the odd shaped tent better..

So do you think that'll be fine if I can keep temps down?

And my next question is I'm trying to grow 1 pound a month or 2 pounds every two months and I need to find the best way to achieve this. I've grown before but that was little amounts just to get the hang of watering and feeling for the plants. I was thinking autos would be the best to harvest every month or two months but would I achieve those yields with autos?
If not how do I go about having a cycle setup to be able to harvest 2 pounds every two months.

One 600w is more than enough for a 2x4 you have a height issue. You need a six foot or greater height to take advantage of the hps spread.

Alright well I can also get another tent and have two tents both flowering autos? Do you think it's possible to grow 2 pounds every 2 months? Or would I be more successful using the 600 w for a veg and then buy another tent and a 1000 watt for flower? Just trying to do what's easier for atm

Two pounds every two months in 8sq.ft. is pretty ambitious. Your best bet will be SOG. Also you will absolutely need an air conditioner with 1200w in that small space.

I would use your current tent to Veg clones and keep a mother plant in. Constantly buying auto seeds would cost you a small fortune. Then get a 4x4 tent with 1000w and get a perpetual garden going in there with a large plant count of small plants.

How would he go about cloaning from an genetically modified auto plant?
Taking a cutting at say *35* days.
that clone even thought its just been cut, would still be on day 35 of whatever growth period the breeder incorporated?

Or are you suggesting " regular" seeds and strains?

I would also suggest that your flowering tent be of one strain for maximum yield rather the multiple strains as i have been running the last 2 rounds.

Absolutley he is going to need regular seeds.
