the first 2 seeds are starting to pop out of the soil, the 3rd seed is a little behind. so tomorrow will be day 1 of the new grow. i put cardboard deviders in to keep the roots away from one another. temps staying at 86 degrees. looking good so far.

thanks lenny

well its day 1 for the new plants, they all started greming at the same time but its like there each in their own stage. temp is holding steady at 86, i took the booster box out and that helped. i have room for to add more soil once they start streching.

heres the new plants, all 3 are up and out of the ground now. heat is still a problem tho, it goes up to 91 with the door closed and stays at 84 with it open. i'll have to work on that some.

day 3 and all 3 plants are up and looking happy. still fighting temps :wall: i think the box needs a better exhaust system, the 2 small 80mm fans just are not cuttin it, plus my intake is only like 2" away from the side of the computer desk its sitting under.

Can Someone please explain to me the gallon Jug with Water
Its just plain water right ?
Does this eliminate the need to water ?
or is this just so the bottom doesnt get dry

i use a gallon jug for both of my boxes to water my plants, its rain water, for the new plants, only plain water right now, when there a week old i will go to 1/4 strenght nute mix, the jug is a gravity fed system i came up with so i wouldnt have to pour water in the plant. it has 2 pieces of 1/4" hose, 1 is a vent tube and the other runs down to the plant and has a on/off valve, so all i do is turn the valve on to water and then shut it off when they have enough, i water either every day or every other day depending on how dry the soil is.

the first 3 pics are the day i cut the top, march 5th, 4 days later, the new shoots, and then march 24th, the 4 new branches. it will take 4 or 5 days to see the new growth. where you make the cut will turn brown and all the new shoots will come out the sides around the cut just below it.

thanks, no problem, i topped her at 8 days old on the 3rd set of true leaves. i screwed up tho when i went and tried to do some LST and broke 1 of the main branches off, but all is good still, here she is now. that gave 5 big main colas and a bunch of smaller buds.

Hey CD nice job on everything. Heat has been my biggest issue so far in my cab. That is until about a week ago. I had 1-65cfm fan for exhaust 1-8inch fan and 2cpu fans for circulation. Well when everyone was giving me advice about cooling the cab they all said HEAT RISES which everyone knows right. So I started thinking and I figured it out. I had to ask myself how can the heat rise and get to your exhaust fans if the whole dam cab is being circulated? All I was doing was mixing all the hot and cool air before it escaped. So I shut all the fans down except the exhaust and my temps went from peeking at 93F to83F. Most of the time they stay at 79 and I have 203 watts with 70 of that hps. After asking several good growers they all said that the exhaust fan was pulling plenty of air through the cab for proper circulation for my girls. Not saying it's the answer to all cabs heat probs but I was so relieved to finally get the temps down. Now I go from 83 to 72 at night.

P.S. Sorry for the long post but I'm just happy about the temp cure and I hope it works for someone else also.
