New grow room 13' x 10' ***** Fist Grow Journal

Hey hows it going guys? I just wanted to share some of my excitement with you. This is my first grow journal and we'll see how it goes.

I am going to try and do a perpetual harvest and mimic Al's 2 week Harvest.



This is what I am starting with!



I made two rooms! one for mothers and one for flowering



Mothers!




CFL 105watt 6500k



5 Indoor Mix from Nirvana Seeds



One that is growing faster then the rest!

Ok so my mothers are going to be drip feed in the table you saw. Im gong to be using perlite as my medium. Canna grow for nutes. Im just wondering on lights?? I have 2- 105watt cfls which is really like 500watts reg bulb, but im not sure if thats gonna do. Ive never used cfls so I was thinking about switching to a 250w mh? what do you guys think

Well i know my CFL bulbs pretty well! Just cuz i wanted to know as much as possible! Are those 105 watt equalivent bulbs or 105 watts used? I recommend 100 watts of actual watts used per plant, i honestly got like 150 watts prob per plant and that works well other than the fact of having to keep them 2in above the plant at all times. My plants grow like weeds and its nothing for me to have to lift that light up 2-3 times a day! With all that space i wouldnt recommend CFL's i only use them cuz i have limited space!!! Im so jealous!!

They are 105watts used.

I just got both these meters and im really confused right now!! The Hanna i got at my local shop and it is a used one but i watched him cal. it right there... the other one I got offline and have not cal. it but says it come pre cal. as of right now i don't have any 7.0 sol. so I cant set them both together......

I don't know what to do now and I gotta water my seedlings, maybe slit the dif and go from there lol

I would trust the one your guy calibrated in person and obviously not trust the 'pre-calibrated' one

Thanks for sitting in one this one its gonna be fun!!! I was gonna go with that one until I get some solution and figure out whats going on!

All 5 of the Indoor Nirvana Mix have broke surface!!! It wont be long before they take off. Right now they are sitting under 1 - 105watt CFL hopefully thats ok for them.

haha dont worry, I felt the same. I feel like the number of sets of leaves is directly proportional to the amount of viewers/replies you get on your thread lol. I think you'll have a really good grow here and people will flock here soon enough. just you wait sir

I'm sooo jealous!!! I'll be following along for sure! I would upgrade to a mh/hps light. Cfls work great for smaller/micro grows! You my friend have a lot more than a small grow!! Good luck to you! Can't wait to see it come along!

I was thinking 400-600 range.I think a 400 would do you nicely! I have a 400 in my 3x3x6 box I made. So you could for sure do that with your space. Maybe you could do 2 250s side by side for the table. How tall do you want to grow them? I'm not sure how much penetration you get with 250. Maybe you could rock the 250 with supplemental cfl side lighting...hmmmm???

The CFL's are only for my mothers and the table they are sitting on is 29" x 60" so about 5' x 2'. And Im going to have 5 mothers . The flowing room will have 2- 1000 hps cooltubes..

My seedlings are 3 days old and you saw the picture ..... ones that have just broke ground have already got roots coming out the bottom of the cube. Do you think I should transplant into their home which is 2 gal pots with rockwool on bottom and the rest perlite or should I just wait and let them grow a bit more
