It might be possible working with Jamaica and Uruguay to get it produced at like $1/gram. They will still need storage facilities, testing, import costs, shipping costs. etc. Sadly we'll loose more Canadian jobs to outsourcing this way. They will mark it up to $6-7 anyways to match the going market prices.
the days of payin .10-$2 to grow your medicine are over. unless you keep growing, best of luck to all of you. when you sink 1mil + youll never grow medicine that cheap. I think once the system is up and running wit a lot of lp. the smaller ones will succeed, due to the overhead cost being a lot lower than the huge lp. theres a lot on any new venture. this is a new thing, this will take a few yrs to work out the kinks, bugs. once the small lp sites are going there will be no if ands or buts on quality organic medicine @ a fair price for all, that means 5-$7 a g for those you can afford it, and 3-5 for those who cant. and anyone that cant afford that will be imo on there own, that's a sad day. I still think this system will lead to better things, a possible legal system in Canada, and a better system. imo ppl will not be braught back in, or just for those in it now, no one new. its all new and people will learn to work with the system and those who don't wont, %3 is about all. when the system has 450k + patients it wont matter whos is still crying that they don't get lbs for free. that is just unheard of and keep growing is the only way. for the docs who will take $ for a lic just like the usa will prob jump very fast. then the market will shows whos doing it right, small more care, large, less quality, no hand trimming, mistakes ect just to keep the huge flow going. anyone small should be able to control a lot more and also focus on makng new strains to work with the patients.

That is the worst outlook I have read on here. So too bad for the patients that fought tooth and nail to get a program going, but this is the way it's going to be and I will just have to buckle under? This system is only going to feed the black market. Unless and until this is legalized, no system will stop the illegal grow ops. Hopefully there will be a lot of unsuspecting new patients to divert attention away from me and my growing tomtoes.

Ya no shit what's with all the to bad for the patient bs. We the patients are the ones who need it. Also if nobody ever stood up to government policies that are all about money and power and less about helping people/ humanitywell we would all likely be hailing hitler right now. So that 3 to 5 dollars a gram and anyone who cannot afford to bad attitude is the same one Steven hitler has that got us into this whole mess.

Im a patent and a soon to be LP and I hear all this outcry about rights and so on of the 35,000 MMAR patents out there. Most who pay for their meds have found a home and started buying. The rest are just regular people on low incomes who can't afford 18$ or $4 a gram, hell $2 is still to high. The reality is none of these people will turn out the lights and they will still be growing long after Seven H is gone they don't care about what the government says so whats the big deal? MMJ activist are starting to sound like all the rest of the causes out there and people tune them out.
The reality is no one is getting shafted by anyone and nothing will change for the the bulk of current MMAR patents, and the recent derision by the courts just shows that. Steven hates pot so why would he make things easy?
Me as an LP I want to make the meds available to as many as I can at a reasonable price.

I have a conspiracy theory about this..... So what if hitler isn't as dumb as we think and he and HC have put the LP system into affect knowing full well it will fail and they would be forced to legalize to save the LP market.... Lol I know there is lots wrong with this theory .... First off thinking Stevan hitler has a companionate bone in his slimy body... Think about everyone would be happy!

If you patients turned LP's were forced like whatfg and myself to pay astranomical prices that are out of reach and then told you will be breaking the law if you continue to provide yourself with medicine you need.... So Scared crazy thiefs or our own RCMP are going to be invading my children and my space.....You would be fired up too... All because of a fucking witch hunt
