Im4satori has done a great deal to sort out my nutrient issues, I for one would recommend following his advice.

Damn... you have some hard ass water.. lol. My RO system took a crap on me and I've been running RO from a water station at the grocery store and it tests at 2 or 3 ppm.

so many people use ro water and most of them probably don't need to
in some cases it might be

some do
but most don't
70ppm is low
I would think an ro would bring it down lower but that's still very good
I have a micRO system. My tap tests at ~560 ppm, and RO knocks it down to 70 ppm
that is some hard water

I guess 70ppm from the RO isn't so bad considering where your starting

you don't happen to have your house on a water softening filter, the type you add salt to pellets too?

We do have an under counter filter, but even the regular tap water is >500.

The big plant has taken off, and now I am about few days into flowering. My question is, how soon should I transition to the bloom nute recipe? The formula you gave me above was basically 3/2/1 ratio. Should I do a transition of 2/2/2 a week or two before going to 1/2/3? Also, any tips or tricks with any other additives/flavorings? Is there anything aside from nutes that I should add in somewhere down the line? Thanks again!

switch to the bloom nutes as soon as you flip 12/12
switch to the bloom nutes 2 weeks into 12/12

theres no wrong answer
if you switch to the bloom asap and you get yellowing of fan leaves in lower growth to soon (before week 6) then next time run the veg nutes for the first 2 week

of maybe something in the middle
start your bloom nutes 1 week into flower and see...then adjust on the next grow

the idea is to avoid feeding lower N too soon causing yellowing prematurely
you will need to play with it to see whats best for you

as for additives

id stay away fro them, for the most part

foliar feed
kelp, during rooting or during early bloom bi weekly
amino acids (in veg only) bi weekly
silica biweekly

if you want to make your own silica blast
mix 150 grams of potassium silicate to 1 gallon of water...itl cost maybe $1 compared to the $30 they'll charge you off the hydro shelf
This kind of tip is what makes the Internet a good thing. Thanks!

if you want to buy additives the kelp4less stuff is far better and far less expensive and with good directions
