Just got off probation, ready to get back growing. I built a 5'.5 "x 8'.5" room in my garage. I've grown before and posted grows on this site. But never with LED's, so I plan on building 2 rigs. Not sure if I'm going to go with quantum boards or cobs. I believe chilLED lighting has something new coming out next week ?

Congrats!
There are actually a couple new lights coming out, sorry cant remember the other but there is a teaser thread here somewhere.

Dont forget light strips too. I just built 400 watts of Bridgelux EB strips and it was super easy and cheap. Samsung F series are better and there are a few build threads for them both here as well. Unless you are not into the DIY thang.

Your growing area is about 46 ft²
When choose LED grow light, you need to pay attention to the power draw
at least 32W/ft² an you need at least 1472W

So you know, what to choose

Here I recommend MEIZHI LED grow light, if your budget is tight loooool

Dude, you've been pushing these Meizhi lights in a lot of threads all of a sudden. Doesn't look good, I have to say. Maybe you're just a really big fan of the lights, but you're coming across as a company rep or something of the sort. And I have to say that this brand you're pushing doesn't look any good anyway.

Seriously just looking at your posts which there are very few of, you appear to be a shill for this company. Why did you write the name of the company in caps like that seems very odd that when writing a recommendation you all of a sudden put their name in bold.

Why?[/QUOTE]

Soorry, I didn make it clear. When I choose LED, most people concerns power draw.
For example, a MEIZHI 600W, power draw 260W, at round139.99USD, around $0.5/ture watt. Though a Chinese brand, solid build, beautiful look, strong output
I google everything and the statistics are from google and I agree it after feeling my plants

The statistics you speak of are completely made up. No academic articles or research has been done on these meizhi lights. Google is a search engine not a trusted scientific source if your making desicion based on statistics.

All the other supplies are pushing just as hard. take a break. Apply that premise to Quantum Boards, pushing so many threads doesn't make Quantum Boards look good either. hmmm. double standard it appears to me.

that is a false premise as well. I provided information on leds more efficient than Quantum Boards and it was a joke to consider using a lower rated output driver to get more photons. I started a thread on understanding your power bill and folks thought that was a joke too. efficiency or just team play. Let this vendor be as free as your vendor friends fairness counts.

You don't understand because you say something means squat.
Arrogance is ugly. your premise lacks anything beyond fantasy.

that is a solid review I have to say, by the numbers :-)
nothing exceptional with this light, good for one plant at 18" imho
The light is absolutely amazing. My plants are 2 weeks into flower and they're now 4 feet tall!!!! None of my previous plants grew this fast or this tall in 2 weeks! The PAR/LUX is crazy too. None of my other LED lights have this kind of coverage and intensity. lol
