Plant don't see green light. If you have a green light you can use that if you need to enter you room during the dark cycle.

Notice he said 'if you need to'. Don't run it all the time.

** Wasn't try to be mean - I thought I got this post in right after MT.

yeah we posted at the same time there and i didnt see that you needed to keep the temp up. There are better ways of doing that. I guess i misunderstood the question or you didn't give enough info.

Yeah I added that to clear up any questions... and you happened to ask the same thing I thought was still open-ended.

For heat you can find small little space heaters that do not generate light - some of the ceramic style ones. But are your temps that low? The plants will be OK down into the 60s.

well my temps drop way to much when my lights are on it keeps a perfect 80F but when the go off by the time 4 hours go by the temp is a little under 60F so if i was to go with 6 hours off the temp would be like 50F-55f and i dont want that

Trying to think outside the box.... coming up short. Only thing I can think of is some home-electronics that run hot... cable modems, etc that you could put in there over-night.

I was just reading the bud dryer thread and you could make a heat sync that kicks on when the lights go off. Check out that thread for ideas but the cheap & easy one is to use a soldiering iron and a small piece of aluminum. Just like the reverse of your computer fan and heat sync where it helps to cool the CPU.
