so lads we're about halfway through week 5 and the girls are standing about 14inches tall. had some mag problems recently that i forgot to mention but a dose of micronutes sorted that out. i think that mag problem has slowed them down a bit but they've started to speed up a bit

Week 5

Well lads here we are 5 weeks in for the oldest plant. I thinks its about 4 weeks for the next oldest and about 3 weeks for the youngest. The oldest & 2nd oldest plants are showing sex, its got some lovely white hairs on the go. The youngest isn't yet but it'll work itself out given time..

I tried to take a picture of the pistols on the oldest plant but the auld camera phone wasnt up to the job.

Also i've had a humidity meter in there for the last couple of weeks. humiditys 50% with very little variation. temps are between 22-25C.

to be honest i haven't really spent much time on them recently cause ive been so busy with work

edit: i think realistically the first plant isn't going to be ready for another 5 weeks maybe 6

Hi,
in the 5th picture, the plant in the middle has some problems I think. What have you been feeding and how often?

Hi mate the middle plant had a pretty bad mag deficiency which i hadn't noticed because i've been working me arse off recently. ive given it two doses of a plant tonic which has rectified the situation.

Ive been feeding them biogrow and biobloom mate since week 3 (i think)

Week 6

Oldest plant is 43 days old today, second oldest is about 35 days old and plant number 3 is about 30 days old. They're all about 18 inches tall and have gotten too big for my grow space cause theyre so bushy. its not the end of the world though as i've got a bigger cupboard in the other room which ill do tomorrow

plants are starting to show more and more white hairs. I think they'll probably come down when they're 10 or 11 weeks old. the more i think about it the more i think that Nirvanas 7 to 9 week estimate is a bit exaggerated.

I would take more pictures for you guys but im not gonna lie ive been dying of flu for the last couple of days and really can't be bothered to pull them out of the grow room

Hi,
the 8,9 week are informative. A lot of people were saying that it's ok if it goes 1-2 weeks over. I hope it's ok becouse I think my auto bubblelicious it's behind with at least 2 weeks :(

thats interesting to know. i think im going to let them run to week 9 and see how they're doing. I was looking at them earlier today and i reckon that 10 weeks will be about right. From what I've read in other peoples journals letting them run for 10 or 11 weeks instead of the breeder estimated 8/9 seems pretty commonplace and wont really do any damage

im not an expert in any way shape or form so each to their own

Hi,
the hairs are not that important. Get that microscope. You have too see when they turn from cloudy to amber. Like the guys say, 10% clear, 85% cloudy and 5% amber. More amber gives more couch high.

I can't upload pictures(not with
nor insert picture working for unknown reason) so I can't post here. I have to upload to a site and post the link.

i've had a look at what to inspect in the books/other threads that i've read and what the effects of the amber and white trichomes will have on the high.

got a scope on order which im looking forward to getting through. can't believe its only 2 and a half weeks to harvest!

Week 6

Week 6 - oldest plant
Week 5 - second oldest
Week 4 1/2 - third oldest

2013-02-17 19.53.04.jpg2013-02-20 20.11.04.jpg2013-02-20 20.11.13.jpg2013-02-20 20.11.24.jpg2013-02-20 20.11.42.jpg

have had a bit of a nutrient lockout problem recently one the eldest so had to do a flush a few days ago and I'm just gave it plain water there earlier on today.

other plants are all fine. good PH, temps 22C - 27C humidity 35% to 50%

oldest plant is 18 inches tall
2nd oldest is 16 inches
youngest is 16 inches
pictures are on the piss again for reasons unknown...

one thing i've been wondering about recently is trimming off some of the lower branches that don't get a huge amount of light. I've read a lot from both sides of the argument and i still havent made a final decision. im leaning towards giving them a trim. any thoughts on the matter lads and ladies?

cheers man im loving them theyre really low maintenance! the oldest one is flowering and is looking glorious! cannot wait for harvest its so close now the last couple of weeks have flown by!

what strains are on the cards for your next grows? Im gonna do a white widow x big bud photo, another NL auto and a blue rhino photo next. gonna invest in a 600w HPS and generally upgrade the grow room before kicking off another grow in may/june time
