I have 3 65 watt cfl"s and numerous 26w cfls on the clones. Once I figured out I was moving outside I put one mother under each 65watter and just let them veg.
damn, those looked great for CFLs from what I could see. I've been wanting to do a 100% budget CFL grow, been seeing some impressive results. If I can get at least an O from each, lolly popping them, I'm set. :hump:

I had the lights about and inch from the tops, and did some training as well. The room had a mylar ceiling, floor, and sides so I wouldn't lose any lights. And they were rotated a half turn every day. Bottom fed and foilar spray as well. I hope they don't feel neglected outside.

im in the piedmont... its my first grow and i've still got seedlings though. I dug some monster holes and put my own soil mix in them and they will get a lot of sun so i should have some big plants. ANd yea there is tons of dank here in nc... a lot of it comes from asheville, boone, and charlotte

My plants, and I, have been enjoying the past 3 days of sunshine. went out and checked them, rain didn't seem to do any damage... but something was munching on two of them. going to have to step up my pest deterrents.
I had one get beat to death by the rain. Luckily it was the only bagseed I put out and I have somewhat of a shortage of growcations anyway so I'll manage.

im in the nc area fayetteville just now planting outdoor i will post pics when ready
Hey, good to have you on board. What are you growing?

Charlotte Area here. I have converted my indoor grow to outdoor after cloning 4 mothers. Trainwreck, Afghan Kush, Northern Lights, and Super Skunk. A mix of peat moss, Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil, cow manure, perlite, and bagged topsoil were backpacked in. Of 20 clones put in 9 didn't get eaten by a deer or rabbit. All 4 mothers were put in some pine bottoms. I visit them at night for waterings and feedings (FF Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom) and a few occasional pictures. I, too, have gotten more than enough rain, its raining at the moment as well. Nice to meet you guys.

Awesome.

Starting indoors is definitely the way to go. You've got such a jump on most everyone else. That extra month or so makes a huge difference. Beautiful looking plants as well, and I love your setup. Very economical but I can tell it works perfect for what it is intended to do.

I hate to hear about your deer problem, I hope you get it worked out. You will have some beasts if you play your cards right.

Best of luck and nice to meet you as well :D

.....I wish I didn't have to drive 2 hours to get some fox farms soil...I can't find a decent bagged mix to use as a super soil base to save my life.

Sounds great, can't wait to see pics!

You're right, there's no shortage of dank in the cities. Unfortunately where I'm at it's such a struggle to get decent grass at prices that aren't outrageous (read: 150+ a q, 450 oz) that half my sacks get delivered by the mail man. Cheaper, and the way I figure it, safer than a long, dirty ride.

I did however just stumble on some killer sativa (i think the negro called it TNT ;)) at a decent price and stocked up.

Those look great man. How long have they been in the ground? Thankfully it stopped raining today and the next 4 or so days look clear. We used to get some really decent stuff here for $45/8th. It all got bought up pretty quick though.

Thanks everyone for the compliments as well. Can't wait to see more pics.

believe it or not, the second plant pictured is almost 2 months old. growth had been majorly retarded and things are just now picking up. the biggest one is 1.5 months, and the smallest ones are just 2 weeks or so. kinda started them all at different intervals, some were even sowed directly into the ground as seed.

I still get a $45 from time to time of some decent KB, but I've been buying $50 quarters of some really good mids from a buddy who lives out near Mint Hill. Every twerp around here wants $60 / $120, haha no ganja is worth that kinda money unless you have cash falling out of your ass.

My buddy's harvest drying out, 1lb 9 oz wet. (small indoor)

this is a strain we've been working on, still unstable but some great smoke. I'm looking to cross these with some Northern Lights eventually to increase yield. Thinking of calling it Brown Mountain Lights once we get somewhere with it. The original mother was from some dank bud one of my other friends got from south of the border, rumored to have been brought there during the 80's from central asia (India / Afghanistan)?? who knows.

$60- $120!!!

Im gonna sell some of mine!

Damn man, I feel kinda old now :?. I am only 30 but I remember when the Diggity Dank was at the very most $40- $80 (we thought it was astronomical but it was good:))

This was in high school, maybe 1995- 1997.

Has inflation really happened that fast?

Yes they are :D

Just got done fucking with the veggie garden, bout to hit the bong. :peace:

Pics from today:

All TGA gear in a couple different super soil mixes. I think there are four jack the ripper, three agent orange, one JillyBean, one Quirkle, and one Vortex.

The one in the front still in the cow pot is one that I lost the label on but its one of the above strains.

I'm not as far ahead as a lot of people, but I'm only growing for me and my dad so I think I'll do just fine.

Edit: Oh yeah, the black rubber is attached to two legs of the upside-down guinea pig cage my plants are elevated on. There are hooks on the top of the other two legs so if it starts raining again really hard I can cover them fast. I believe it's saved them before but they're growing up now ;)

Here's hoping it stays this sunny!:joint::peace:

Wow thats a decent garden to start with for two people. My good friend brought a shishkaberry clone back from NC last year and wow those buds where so nice.... but +Rep I think your grow is going to do well.

Hey thanks man, I appreciate it. Never heard of shishkaberry but it's fun to say. Of course I'll share as much as possible but you can't share it if you don't got it.

We have had two dry days!!! Thank god. I'll get some new pics tonight we I go out. I had to buy some stakes to tie my smaller branches up. The rain knocked them down.
