Look at where the stock market was when bush got out. My 401k is rocking over the past 8 years..

Here's the thing about the market and 401Ks. If you are within 5-7 years from retirement, it's a concern, but outside of that, you really don't even need to pay much attention to it for your own sanity's sake. That is market lesson number 1 in the world of stocks/equities. The S&P 500 has a historical yearly average return of something like 7% since the Depression and barring a shtf economic collapse, a scenario where your money is gone anyway unless you have physical possession of it, it should continue as so. If I personally traded stocks right now -- I don't -- I would be pouring money into the blue chippers and taking full advantage of dollar cost averaging and/or the coming recovery. I have a feeling we will just keep on printing money and propping up the markets for several more years, so it will artificially recover anyway.

BTW, 7% is the benchmark that guarantees doubling an initial investment in 10 years.

My 401k went up about 2500 the day after the uk exit.

Yea it monitors the heartrate for 24 hours. They're looking for arrhythmia.

El dorado County about 3500 feet or so. Yea it's going pretty good its been a rough start but getting it done. The Princess got to chase the same buck we ran off last night...just to the gate but she was excited lol
