It feels a bit like hash. I've only been using it for a day or so. It takes a while to vape a bowl than to smoke it, even with the fan assist but it goes alot further. It's like 3-4 bowls in 1 and if you have a bong hit during the sesh you get the full spectrum high, not that the vape high is missing much.

I noticed i can't get that paralleling feeling like i do from a massive bong hit that slowly turns into a good high, with the vape you have to build the high up. I get that hit in the throat like i do from hash easily from the vapour. Tastes like hash or oil a little bit, but the taste isn't much to write home about if the temp is too high.
The real question for me is..is it good enough to use instead of a bong? I really don't like the tar build up from smoking. Haven't tried a vape before but I love the idea in theory, just not sure about droppin the cash. Was gonna grab a Q from ebay too, are you in Oz bro? Guess it'd prob get snapped on way into NZ too, I shoulda done it in the Christmas rush!
woah wait..just reread..feels like hash!? So a lot lot stronger hitting the same bud through the vape than smoking it? just more gradual come-on?

Whats the laws around utensils etc like pipes bongs over there? It's all illegal here. Fucking incredibly ridiculous. And even more crazy is the charge is worded as though it's syringes or something. Like actually says possession of syringe blah blah. for use of cannabis wtf lol don't even know of anyone doing that..

Hey guys!
Ck and Letstrip - love seeing your girls growing up out in the wild.

My update is a bit of a mixed bag... been about 3 weeks

I found passion vine hoppers EVERYWHERE.

Site2d.JPG

Some of the plants were just covered in them, especially the ones in more shaded areas. I gave all plants a shake to get most of them off and disturb them from feasting on my girls for a while. Next time I go back Ill be armed with a spray bottle of neem and soap. :cuss:

Site1.JPG

Site 1 - I cleared some surrounding grass/weds and pinched off some of the lower stuff to improve airflow and get rid of any dead/dying foliage. These girls werent looking too hot but Im putting it down to location (shaded) and soil def's, as I didnt ammend these holes much and the existing native soil was pretty average (mostly hard clay). What you guys reckon?

Site1a.JPG

Site 2 - Bit of a sorry sight here too, but not all bad

Site2.JPG Site2a.JPG Site2b.JPG Site2c.JPG

As you can see 2/3 died. Was it the PassionVineHoppers? or was it underwatering? or something else...? dun dun dun... But the 3rd is looking pretty healthy at 3-4ft. :weed: I was hoping that all 3 would look this way... is what it is. Got some seeds sprouting now for a mid run that I might use a couple of to fill these spots but Im hesistant because the seeds are M/F while these sites are all clones, meaning no visits for sexing males. Ehh... planning a late mini clone run so maybe Ill just fill in with these... Annnnnd the most annoying thing??? The 3 foot prickle bush growing at the base of the dead girl in the fabric pot :wall:

Site 3 - Not exploding but still kickin

Site3a.JPG Site3b.JPG

A bit shady here too, so lots of PVH's

tbc...

... part 2

Site 4 - A great site IMO, decent sun and soil. Not sure if its the light cos I didnt notice while I was there but the front plant look a little yellow? hungry perhaps? Anyways... a little pruning and weeding... done.

Site4.JPG

Site 5 - My favourite spot so far. I'm making mental notes to blow this spot up next season providing all goes well.

Site5.JPG

Site 6 - Another good spot. The plants were quite smothered by the surrounding growth. A bit of a clean up and they're good to go. Might need some staking next time too.

Site6.JPG Site6a.JPGSite6b.JPG

Well... thats it for now. Overall, Im happy for what Im getting with minimal maintenance. Im learning all the time and Im sure I'll have a few more lessons to learn before the seasons done. Hope everyones enjoying their summer/holidays.

Looking forward to hearing how everyones plants are going.

Grow on growers...

I just posted a thread asking for advice on the best strain for shady area's. I'll use 5 gallon buckets with good soil and self watering "as much as possible" and painted in camouflage. I'll set up in the winter months, I only want to go back a couple of times, to be safe, so researching now to be ready for next season. Any suggestions ??

Hey man great few spots you got there! shame about the munted ones..vine hoppers can do that eventually but it takes a lot and a while..possible though..could be other problem though - does look a lot like underwatering..are they in pots to allow you to move them around? Just wondering.

are they from seed bro?

Looking awesome anyways..gonna have a good harvest :) Nice pics

How shady we talking here? Indicas are in general better for lower light conditions..but they do get dense..and so need full sun in the morning ideally - need to dry off before rot takes.

any reason not to plant straight into the ground?

It's sand stone and sand mainly. It's shady, light but not much direct sunlight.

The pots were just an experiment, bottomless and made out of an old trampoline that was ripped. Theres only a small native topsoil layer so I was hoping the extra soil would go well. I'm actually hoping to use them in a swamp/bog type area next year if they work out. Shouldnt have to worry about under watering there...

These are all clones of unknown seed from a friend, I ran a winter seed grow and took cuts from the best looking. I think it's all in an earlier post.

I've got a couple of seed grows in other spots but trying to keep visits minimal. I'll update as things progress... Maybe...

Let's hope you're right about having a good harvest 8-)

Oh yea that's a good idea re the pots without bottoms..perfect actually imo. Yea that'll be awesome with swampy ground..just make sure the soil in the pots is nice and light for good drainage ;)
Yea lol most probably is in a post earlier in the thread..its getting long now lol.
Yea I know what you mean about trying not to visit..
Certainly has the potential man!

Interesting I wanna try one, doesnt beat a good bong hit though ha? :)

Heres the purple girl that I did through spring. I took her down about two weeks ago because she started rotting, its a shame I couldn't run it longer and finish it of properly because the weather is killer now. Anyway Ill have some bud pictures soon its curing up now and starting to smell amazing. The nanners must have been sterile because their isnt any seeds? Got 2 oz and 8 grams total but its pretty dry lol Happy with that for an against the season grow :)

Looking nice brother! Nice coloured leaves on her eh. Soo how it goes re the weather lol..always. Yea man, often they can be sterile but also in the first few weeks after pollination there's almost no sign of seeds in the bud. Takes longer for seeds to fully develop so if the nanners are at the end of the cycle it's not really a big issue..unless your plants are all out of sync/running perpetual or running strains with differing flowering length.

Yeah pretty happy the sun turned up hah Yea that's sorta what I thought, like maybe the seeds just arent showing up yet but it started putting out nanners quite early then lots in the last week or so.
