ACORN has already received 50-80 million dollars of taxpayer money, and are scheduled to receive another 8.5 billion from the stimulus. Let's hope this gets shut down before that happens.

You do realize there is three separate videos out in the last four days in three separate cities about ACORN. These people don't even blink an eye when it comes to talking their way around illegal activities and ways to get away with them.
Have you read the bill? Do you have access to that kind of information? How is being a republican drinking the coolaid? Democrats are the majority in this country, therefore they are the sheep.
99% of humans are ignorant of the facts or what I would just call downright stupid.
I'm not a republican. I'm not a democrat. I'm an independent. They aren't drinking the cool-aid, they are looking at the facts and making the decision for themselves. Why do you think all other news stations are going bankrupt? Even the far lefty lefts are watching Fox News now. Why? Because they deliver news people actually care about.
Fox doesn't have all the information, not even close, but they are at least conciously making an effort to FIND the FACTS.
That's a lot better than accepting special interest money to turn the blind eye to obvious corruption. Cough cough NBC, ABC, CBS take your DAMN PICK.
Beck-Aid drinkers as you say are people who are taking into consideration what Beck is saying. It's not all facts, some of it is conspiracy, but their are facts that point toward the validity of the conspiracy.
Like Beck says, no more spending until we know EXACTLY what we are dealing with.
Once the cards are face up (meaning all Americans can easily understand what our government is doing) and we know exactly what we are dealing with, then and only then can our country begin to progress. Let's make this personal. Do YOU have ANY clue what your tax dollars are going toward right now?

And they got it. You think that Acorn is the only scums in the world? I mean that is such a joke, and was not 'investigative journalism' it is a smear campaign against Acorn. More what this is about for me is the news that is being reported. It is making us dumber. I mean how can people in one thread say that they want to have government out of their lives and let the free market reign, then in another stand up for idiots that manufacture news? If people cannot get that the news is now allowing this crap 'journalism' to go on, they are infact allowing stupidity to reign.
And if people are stupid and ignorant of actual facts, how can they be taken seriously when listening to what they have to say?
Instead of actual arguments about healthcare reform, most of what I see is "Socialism, Nazi, Evil, Undead, Zombie, Eats Aborted Fetuses, Illegal immigrants, Kill Grandma". Instead make it about trot reform, how to get the free market to do this, who should regulate the industry, what is working in other countries and what is ACTUALLY not working.

You say that I am drowning, but where do you get that from? I am pro gun rights, pro less government when the market can take care of what needs to be done, more private schools, and actually don't mind monopolies.
But yes I am a liberal, I care more about human rights, anti-war when there is no reason for it (but for pulling off the kids gloves when we are in war and getting it done in the fastest way possible), education, education, education, truth in the news, ect.
I will watch Beck for you.
But can I ask something of you? Put aside all political ideals and pre conceived notions, and fact check (with the real sources, full quotes in context, where that info came from, everything I mean fully fact check) one of his episodes.

I hear you Han, and yes, ppl get easily fooled by the media on both sides. almost everyone gets the majority of their news off the TV, because it's always on and it's easy. Of course most things that are easy have pitfalls.
I ask, where was the "media" on these stories? THEY should have been the ones to break a story like this.... not some college kids.
Those kids are our future leaders...... a bit of get up and go is what this country needs, not sit back and have someone hand it to me. That's the kind of administration we have now..... let's get back on the rail.

Because far Left radicals have infiltrated our educational institutions and have been very effective at convincing people through indoctrination to shut their brains off and blindly toe the party line regardless of the facts.
The Senate has in fact voted 83 to 7 IIRC to cut all government funding of ACORN. And the video tapes keep coming. And still most of the main stream media is burying the story, which is in and of itself big news.

oops, looks like the kids got another office in cali. thats 4 in about a week. i think i see a pattern developing....but of course someone will come on and tell me i must be blind. one thing for sure, if i ever want to start prostituting children from foreign countries right here in america, i will go to acorn for help figuring out all the details. hmmmm, and obama was just one of the main lawyers for the "firm" and often spoke highly of their "hard work and dedication" to the neighborhoods they worked in. no wonder those neighborhoods are cesspools.

Thanks for the complement. But I think that you misread me.
Again I do not care about Acorn. I don't care if they disappear tomorrow, or not. They are not even on my radar. Congress just stripped them of federal money, I don't mind or care. Hopefully it will go to a company that will do a better job, regardless of how people feel that Acorn did (if they feel that they were good or bad it doesn't matter).
Are we talking about the sting operation, or child prostitution? Because those are two different things. I am anti both. But regular prostitution, I really don't give a crap about. It is a waste of our tax dollars constantly hauling them into jail, only to send them back out a day or so later. I say screw it, if people want to get an STD, who am I to stop them?

You have set facts and laws that work over and over again, and regardless of what it is that you believe politically it doesn't matter. You that follow Fox like they are Jesus, are the only people that really care about Acorn.
That is why they don't get much press on any other station, because they know unless you are a Fox watcher, you don't give a rat's ass. So they give it what it deserves, very little.

Fox isn't trying to connect him to Obama, they are simply saying that tax dollars shouldn't go to an obviously corrupt organization. They showed one clip that shows Obama stating he has been working with ACORN for the past several years. They interviewed a higher up acorn employee and he said he had connections in Tijuana and could help them smuggle under age prostitutes into the country.
If you believe your tax payer dollars should go to ANYONE with these kinds of beliefs and values, what does that say about your own?

I also don't care about ACORN.... now that the truth has been exposed. These cretins have perpetuated voter fraud upon the republic long enough. This is just the straw that broke the camels back.
It's all about the general attitude on what the govt. is for. ACORN just doesn't mince words about its beliefs, which is in line with the far left. ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg. That cancerous attitude is rife in the democratic party today.... and needs to be kept in check. That attitude should exclude you from leadership positions in govt, or taxpayer funded offices. Let them maintain their ideas without my money.... do it on their own dime.
There is nothing wrong with Sting operations.
Let's just look at ACORN. Now if 20/20 went in there with cameras rolling and ACORN was asked a hypothetical like that.... think the CPA there in Maryland would have changed her tune? You better believe she would have. Without that sting interview, we wouldn't be sitting here today shedding that tumor of an organization.
