Obama's real plan for health care

Nice, Rick ...

Now watch the Progressives on the site try to spin this one.

This is the slight of hand that government usually uses. Check out Social Security for example. When a member of the general public is addressed by the Social Security Administration, the approach is that SS is a "retirement plan," or retirement insurance. When an employer is approached, it becomes a "tax."

I'm not denying it at all. Personally, I'd love for there to be a single payer, and for those insurance companies to be dismantled, but I don't think Obama would go through with that. As Bush once said, denial is just a river in Libya. And I don't appreciate the personal insult *FURIOUSLY MASHES REPORT BUTTON*

that another corrupt politician should change his message depending on the group to which he is speaking is nothing remarkable. that another corrupt politician should attempt to hide his agenda when he finds himself under attack is to be expected. that the president of the united states should blatantly lie to the people he is sworn to serve in an attempt to actively undermine what remains of a free market is inexcusable.

What "personal insult?" You haven't seen a personal insult ... YET.

And this was funny: "As Bush once said, denial is just a river in Libya."

I wish Obama's plan was a single payer system.

Sadly, it's not. But for these folks it is:

The med industry is already heavily regulated by the government. Check out the AMA it's controlled by the pharma industries. Any doctor who uses unorthodox treatments such as natural cures and remedies will have his liscense taken away unless he's in Arizona. Obama has tried to trick Americans into thinking it is unregulated by the gov. The media always likes to give us 2 choices. In this case it's 'would you like to socialize medicine' or 'keep it the way it is?'Really we need less control on the med industry than is already imposed. Competition is the key. Who can provide the best care with smallest costs? An alternative to revamping the whole system is saying NO to big pharma companies. Prevention is 100x cheaper than actual treatment. Many medical problems can be prevented by healthy diets and living in a clean atmosphere(by that I mean less carcinogens). I have always wondered why cancer rates have skyrocketed. Is it because of all the nuclear testing that has been done? Cancer is their golden goose. Rather than cure it, med industry would prefer to rack up medical bills. In short, it's a racket. All about $$$ I suggest researching codex alimentarius.

Um, you do realize "health care reform" isn't really about health CARE, it's about health INSURANCE?

The care you receive/can potentially receive is dictated by the health insurance you have.

Whatever the case, something needs happen with the issue(s). Wonder how this will affect me (financially) when I eventually get done.

why should we go live in canada when we can make our system better than that, or this one we have. why cant we have a single payer or even better, UNIVERSAL health care.

Whats funny though about the left vrs. right.

The right are not afraid to pull the trigger when it comes to a bad bill.
the left cant figure out how to do anything with out getting into a full on battle within its ranks, even with a supermajority.

If the left had half the balls as the right we would have all this by now, the right doesnt care who they shit on to get what they want. while the left waits, and waits. and loses their supermajority.............pussies. Pull the trigger then talk about how bad of a mistake it was, thats what the right does.... minus talking about how bad it was. everything the right does is "good" yeah right!

Um, make no mistake, it's about health CARE not insurance.

INSURANCE - the act, system, or business of providing financial protection for property, life, health, etc., against specified contingencies, such as death, loss, or damage, and involving payment of regular premiums in return for a policy guaranteeing such protection
Contingency
a. An event that may occur but that is not likely or intended; a possibility.
b. A possibility that must be prepared for; a future emergency.
If it were really about insurance would we really be telling the companies they HAVE to cover pre-existing conditions? Kind of like telling Geico they have to fix a car that was totaled BEFORE the customer signed with them.

And by the way, it's good to have you back posting under your original username doob.

Here is an anonymous qoute some of you might appreciate -

Now let me get this straight...we are going to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a President that also hasn't read it and that smokes, with funding administered by a Treasury chief that didn't pay his taxes...all to be overseen by a surgeon general that's obese, and financed by a country that is nearly broke. What could possibly go wrong?
