If government can provide better service for less money then who gives a fuck. Our system is BROKEN and we already have defacto national healthcare. Anyone can walk into a hospital and they have to be treated, our current system just tells the hospitals to eat the cost which gets passed on to the insurance company which passes it on to us. Last night on NPR's Marketplace they said that 30-40 cents of every dollar spent in medicine was going to support the uninsured.
