OK, I have been doing this for a little while and I seem to have run in to a problem. I’m in the middle of starting a new grow and my seedlings don’t look to good. I have been fortunate to not run in to any major problems in the past (I have never killed a plant), but I’m wondering if my luck is gonna hold out, lol. Anyways any info would be appreciated...

Ohhhh BTW, they all sprouted on 2/28/09

Is that floss tied around the stems? :\

I don't know what else to say yet, what are your temps like? My seedlings had slightly curvy leaves like that about 2 weeks in.. just not that severe. Are you checking your PH?

i have ran into a much similar problem on my last grow. my seedlings all started drooping/curving, wilting and yellowing. im unsure exactly what caused mine, i think it was heat or perhaps it was tryin to reuse soil, or maybe i had too much light on em, ive heard that seedlings can be over lighted. as soon as i get my exhaust installed im goin to restart up with new soil and fewer lights to start out. maybe some of that helps? good luck

If you can have to much light when there in the seedlings stage than that might be my problem. As far as temps go, its been hanging around 70 or so and its new soil. On a positive note the new growth looks good. I think I'll play the waiting game and see what happens. Lets keep our fingers crossed...

I figured I would post a few more pics today. I tried to show how ventilation is set up in my grow box. I have to primary fans one on bottom blowing air from the outside of the box in and one on top of the box moving hot air out. As far as over watering or under watering, not sure. I know the soil on bottom of the pot is wet obviously because the roots have not made it down there yet. However the soil around the plant on top seams fine... Thanks for the help so far...

Ohhhh btw, I did notice a rusty brown patch on one of my seedlings. I took a good pic so maybe that will help out...

yes just wait a seedling has to establish a root system in order to grow and that take about 3 weeks if things are A O K and your haveing no problems. good luck

At this early stage I don't think there is anything I can do besides wait, anything else would probable kill them, or I could pull them up and try again. I think I'll wait. I do wish I knew what was causing the problem, like the wilting or rusty color. Any Ideas???

did you add anything to the soil before planting em? i think i may have put too much into my soil when this happened to me, or it could have been a few other factors. still im gonna be keepin up with this one. i hope your plants turn out better than mine did, as all mine died...

I think yer overwatern a bit...at this stage I use a cc dropper (same one I use to measure nutes) just around the stem. little plants use little water

Don't worry, just wait it out. I overwatered my two indicas and they looked AWFUL at about 2 weeks in. They were seriously just 5 inch stems with maybe 4 small leaves. Now they are thriving and in flowering.

Like the other guy said they'll pull through, my problems seemed to slowly fix themselves (like yours they weren't too serious)
