Organic Vs. Synthetic Nutrients

Last year they destroyed tons of elephant tusks seized from poachers in Kenya or some other African country. Why not sell that for millions and flood the market with legal ivory so the poachers won't have a market to cause them to hunt the elephants in the first place? Use the money to help save the rest of the elephants.

Using the same stupid logic that's applied to the drug war so you know someone's pockets are getting lined over there.

they don't, they hunt them in africa, but we didn't used to allow them to bring any trophies home, now, they can
They're hunted legally in africa already and import wasn't banned until 2015. I don't know how much that really changes anything. It makes a good headline i guess.

If people want to hunt for sport they should be allowed to. You want to hunt lions, ok do it on foot with a machete and a go pro. Imagine the footage we'd have. We'd have a new grizzly man diaries or crocodile hunter every week.

I love watching "trainers" at a circus get hurled 100 yards from the flick of an elephants trunk.
The trainer at seaworld trying to get killer whales to jump through hoops for sardines, then the whale says fuck this bitch and eats her instead.

i prefer synthetic, just because of the convenience. i use jack's 20-20-20 during flower and the first part of stretch, then i switch to jack's blosom booster 10-30-20 for two weeks, then jack's citrus till the end. i'll alternate in some kelp extract, and some fulvic and humic acid.
the jack's doesn't come with any calcium, so i foliar spray once every two weeks with yield booster, which is a calcium spray for tomatoes to keep them from getting blossom end rot, but it works great on weed too, haven't seen one calcium freckle since i started using it.
thats pretty much my whole regimen.
i don't have a problem with organics, i've just never been able to tell the difference. a lot of people say they can, but i apparently have an unrefined palate, and don't see the point in putting in the effort for a result i can't perceive

I believe it's easier to overdose with synthetics, which is what leads to a harsh finished product. But if you go easy on the PPM, your buds can turn out very nice.

I'm not overly fussed what i use or even a mixture of both, all do the same.

Over time organics and T5s have really given a lot better product than hps and synthetics but the difference isnt that much.

Would any one opt for synthetics over organics if some pro grower was growing for you and you could have any choice of style way and ferts, pretty sure id be saying a defo yes to the organics? :-)

If you had two dispensaries side by side. Each offered top shelf buds of your favorite strain grown by the best organic growers and also grown by the best hydroponic growers. Both cost the same.
You can only choose one store to go into. Which would it be?
I'd probably buy the hydroponic weed because I hate standing in long lines.

Me too -- and I bet you couldn't tell the difference in a double-blind trial.
It's a win win! 8)

Also, your comparison is flawed. Did you forget about organic hydro? It's a real thing. (Chilled res)

What about semi-organic?

I always buy organic produce at the grocery store when the price is reasonable. But it's not because I care about whether they fed it something that came out of a cows ass or a plastic bag. I only care about the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides.
High brix is what matters when it comes to flavor.

The problem is that if you gave me someone elses organic and synthetic grows of the same weed and perfection i wouldnt or would be more of a hopefull guess but in my own grows i can see clear as day, mainly because i watched them grow and mature and subtle differences become glaringly obvious over time.

Unblindfolded and the og then yes i can tell, i would keep a personal grow of the things i like the best even if commercial or med, they will never know the difference :-)

Broader spectrum light and broader spectrum plant nutrition has always been studied commercially and scientifically as well as plant defense under synth and organic....
