Wet may disagree but this all boils down to the quality of your starting water. Brita is no where as good as a r.o. device. No matter how good or bad the water starting water is, an r.o. will do a great job cleaning it. A Brita device removes some impurities, but not all and the worse the starting water is, the less it's ability to clean the water. But it's better than nothing obviously. Also, even out of an r.o. device, you would still need to pH the water. It DOES NOT come out pH perfect- at least mine doesn't. As I said earlier, depending on the time of year, my r.o. ph water is anywhere from 5.6 to 6.6 or there abouts.........
