pipes in me soil to let air into roots

rite so i have been experimenting with a fue weed plants and i have been reading about aeration in the soil like worms and stuff,i have put 4 4mil pipes into the soil just under the roots in sequence to where the roots will grow,well thats the guesswork of it anyways,has anyone ever tried it before any comments on it will do.im pretty new to growing this is out third grow,i just hope this works id hate to fuck a healthy pineapple chunk plant up

Don't think it will hurt it however you should look into smart pots or the like as the surface area brining in o2 is maximized.

i have a fan circulating the air, i just hope air going right in there wont do any harm ye know what i mean

Are you pumping air into the soil, or is it just a bunch of tubes stuck in the soil?

i'd imagine you'd have to force air into those tubes to get them to be effective unless you had bigger tubes. the lumen just isn't large enough to passively ventilate the soil unless you generate a pressure differential (but then it wouldn't be passive)

Watch for ants and bugs using those tubes to create a nest in your root ball.

smart pots and perlite may work better for getting air into your soil. a few years ago a company was selling a ring that was placed in the bottom of the pot and connected to an air pump but that ideal never caught on,cannabis does like good drainage

I use smart pots and have been very pleased with them.

I tried the plant warrior pot. Went back to my Menards green 5 gal bucket with holes drilled in various places

I veg in plastic still with holes drilled in and then transplant to the smart pots for flower... How much of a difference yield wise did you notice between the plastic and the bag?

I see the best from buckets with holes.
