FAct: The phillipines was not granted independence until after the end of the war.
I have to ask. Do you actually do any research before you speak on matters, or do you just post what you think without such. Every single thing I posted to present your rhetoric as non-factual can easily be found in a search engine.

FACT 1 you made all them "facts" up its well known that fish populations world wide are getting lower and lower but you dont see any one else hijacking huge ships with $50m worth of oil.

FACT 2 the avrige ransome for a hyjacked ship is 10 million $ yh i bet there starving poor people its the west's fault for fishing there waters.

FACT 3 a big amout of money is exported to big crime rings.

Ok man sorry to blaze on the IQ thing but you did come on pretty strong with your assertion that I made up my points, Or facts as I called them.
I will look up the link you gave. However as I said the information I provided can easily be found at google, biing, yahoo,etc...

haha yh lookin back at the comment i did come across a bit of a dick. i suppose they do it for surival after all there in somolia and i gess they get greedy after the first succses but who can blame them why only eat when you can have a 4x4 and a hdtv there only human but its the outside gangs that make the big profits off piracy there the ones to blame.

You were wrong in stating that the phillipinos gained their independence after the 1911 war. When in fact they did not gain independence until 1946.
You attempt to deflect by asking Were all the million Killed by the US military. . Well considereing that the US military was the main aggressors one could conclude such, However... I am sure there were some that died of natural causes like burning to death or starvation. Perhaps even some were killed by Phillipino colaberators.

You were wrong about them eating big screens. You said they were trying to feed their families. I merely pointed out that big screens are not very nutritious; thus revealing that it was not about feeding their families at all. It is all about the bling. This was in the article Abe posted. So let me get this straight....

Are you saying the pirates working off the coast of Somalia are not Muslim?

Technically you are correct, Philippine Independence was officially granted in 1946. But you ignore the Philippine Independence Act of 1934, which recognized Philippine Independence in 1934 and would have granted full Independence in 1944 had not the Japanese invaded.

Well as you have been a member since this month, I can rest easy knowing you have studied me so well, Professor.

The Philippines aren't on a Continent, they are Islands.

People in Somalia shot at me when I was there in '93, they took shots at all the other Marines too. We killed plenty of innocents and civilians trying to get to the warlords, unfortunately the whole country hated our guts so it was ineffective and people starved while warlords got fat and rich. If we had left the country alone it would have been better for all.
