Plant dying :( Help please

I have cut the bottom leaves off (first real weed leaves) because of them basically being dead. It is in a 8.5l auto pot and is currently 23 days old and it is a diesel ryder (auto strain). I have used some canna rhitzotonic, which is used for badly developed plants and plants that suffered from shock and you can see the improvement over 1 day! Should i scrap it due to it being a autoflowering strain because its seems so far behind a different thread? Attached another image of a different 20 day old diesel ryder!

They look fine to me bud. Maybe it's just a little nute burn from the young plants/sprouts going into your soil.

dont scrap it. let it grow, worse case you dont get a huge yeild but i can tell you how much you will get if you junk it. 0

if its not costing anything to keep it i would let it grow. the burn tips is a sign of heat stress i think (not posotive) how close are your lights.

overall the plant looks healthy except them burnt tips wich arent a big deal as long as it dosent continue to spread.

oh and never take leaves off a plant especially so small. the plant knows when to shed them and will do so when it is best for the plant.

Yeah, i'll keep her going. And the temp is always within 78-85f. Thinking of getting a 90cmx50cmx160cm grow tent, will that be adequate for a 400w hps, because i have the heat issue it seems atm with a 125wcfl and my current grow space will get far too hot with a 400w hps! Also i have already cut the bottom leaves off, is it going to cause a problem later on in the growth? Images are 6 days younger with the leaves on that i cut off!

nah it shouldnt be a problem.

What are you using for lights? I'd almost say it looks like too much light on a small seedling.

2 golden auto flower rules.

1. be patient there very slow in the first 3 weeks.
2. never cut them.

"because i have the heat issue it seems atm with a 125wcfl a"
Hmmm...somehow I missed that, thanks.

How far away is your light from those little seedlings? It really looks to me like overly intensive light on the little buggers. Move it away at least a few inches and they should start taking off. Shouldn't have to mess with nutrients or anything else at this stage of the game. The plants are delicate, but overly simple at the stage. Just add water.

Lol, it's about 3" away. Just checked and she's improved again after 4 hrs. I think my baby's back :). Thinking of getting another 125w cfl and not using the 400w hps for later stage, good idea?

Yup, that was probably the cause. That's too close for such a big dawg light. Don't get me wrong, 125w CFL isn't a super powerful light, but seedlings are touchy about it. Next time, when the seed sprouts set the light at about 6-8 inches. Let the plant grow righ to it. I start my T5 HO's at 20 inches and they love it. I once started them at 2-3 inches (like they are during veg) and I had the same problem.

man I sure hope thats his problem. I havent experienced that except when they touch the light. Not sure I ever got seedlings very close anyway, afraid they will grow fast and touch..... We'll keep our fingers crossed.

man that thing just has too much moisture in the pot .... it has nothing to do with light .......

its almost locked out for one reason or another because its eating the lower leaves an i dont believe you fed her anything so its just getting a lil too much water before it drys out.

Yeah i've been letting the soil get bone dry before each watering, pictures were taken just after i fed her. Looking back she started dying when i gave her tap water, not the usual bottled water i give her. Then i fed her some rhitzotonic with bottled water and she sprang back to life. Have i possibly found the answer to my problem ? She looks healthy and beautiful again minus the tips of a set of leaves, will that fix itself?

once the plant starts growing again , the "burnt" leaves will fall off , they wont fix theirselves.

also the tap water wont hurt anything ..... just make sure you let it sit out overnight so all the chlorine evaporates before using. i have always used tap. i even went back to tap after a RO filter.

you might wanna go to your towns water website an see if they been using anything besides chlorine. (chloramine gets used in bigger cities an it does not evaporate)
