SALUTATIONS LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!

lets get it straight: i wanna grow my own plants

i'll post all the questions and i'll read them as soon as you answer

1. i am a daily smoker, but i dont need much to get high. i smoke the same as two joints a day. how many plants do i need to grow to fullfill my daily needs?i also smoke one occasional extra joint when i meet my friends, its like one joint or two per week, so count those in.

2. i bought some hemp seeds in an animal's store. i know they are not premium quality, but believe me, its the best i can do. will i encounter any problems by planting these?

3. i'm germinating 20 of those seeds. i'm using the paper towel method. i saw it on internet, and its working well for me. some already broke free from the shell, and havent passed 24 hours yet, so, good news. what is the most important thing to do next? what is the next step?

4. i was thinking about the future plants, and i realized i needed a grow tent, but i cant afford 100$ tents. i read some interesting posts here about home-made cardboard grow tents. is this a good way to solve the problem, or is there a better way? My budget to spend in all of this is 50$. remeber, I DONT WANNA SELL WEED, I JUST WANNA SMOKE TWO JOINTS A DAY

5. about the cardboard homemade grow tent, if it is the best viable way i can afford, what are the basic things it must have in terms of light, fan, heat, etc? remember i just want good weed, i dont intend to have premium super weed, cause i already realised i cant afford it, and the place i have to grow it is not very big. i just intend to have undispensable things (is it the correct word?), no pro ligh kits that cost 400$

Hemp has basically no THC...if I was you I'd buy some weed and grow the seeds that are in it or ask your dealer if he has any seeds.

As for the lights I'd use CFL's 3 daylight ones and 3 soft white, I think I have read that wattage should be at least 30 per foot but the higher the better. The daylight lights are for veg stage and the soft white ones are fro flowering.

On the inside of the card board box should be covered with a reflective substance like mylar, if you can't find mylar I have read the potato chip backs are mylar and you can use those.

That is about all you need excluding pots and soil. Also you should read the forums and FAQ's. I have never grown anything yet but I have done a shit load of reading on here.

And i think the word you was looking for was bare necessities

i been wanting to grow since august of '08' i did a lil trial & error grow in my closet i did alright .. but i had no ventilation and heat was a issue for me if u can get a big enough Box u can do maybe 2-3 plants at the most .. but u gonna have to invest more than 50$ (Rule Of Thumb) u go cheap u grow cheap... maybe a koo 150$ should do ...GL with your grow...

"sementes de canamo" translates to seeds of hemp.....just ask your fellow smokers if you can have there seeds.

I bought all of my growing stuff for about 40 bucks at wal-mart but I can't grow cannabis until I move out so I am growing tomatoes. I wouldn't buy miracle grow soil, it is usable but it is very difficult unless you get the organic stuff. I have the time release kind and it is currently burning up my tomatoes.

the actual name of it is Sementes de Canhamo Indiano.

i read in some sites it has thc, and they say hemp is just another name for cannabis, or weed, or wathever.
they say Canhamo Indiano has the most psychoactive efects. if you can read a bit of portuguese i'll give you the sites.
maybe you are confusing with industrial hemp, ich is only the males

are there any rules for grow small? its cause i dont wanna grow cheap, i wanna grow only small quantities

what i want is not to grow cheap, its to grow "small", you see?
i smoke two small joints a day, nothing more

well anything worth doing is worth doing right... but go for it.. i did alright for growing in a closet im sure youl do fine my dude

I can't read Portuguese and I may be confusing it with industrial hemp. Copied and pasted directly from wikipedia "Typically, Hemp contains below 0.3% THC, while Cannabis grown for marijuana can contain anywhere from 6 or 7 % to 20% or even more."

Hemp does have THC it's just an insignificant ammount. I wouldn't consider a headache to be a psychoactive effect as this will happen way before you get high off hemp. As for industrial hemp, they try to use only females as females have a much higher mass when it comes to fibers/oils. I would have to agree with Dimefan, just ask your buddies if they have any beans lying around. If not ask whoever you usually buy from, anything really would be better than hemp.

believe me, the store owner said the seeds were illegal, and i saw in other portuguese websites that in portugal animal's store sell seeds that make weed. they say even people that sell weed buy theirs in these kind of stores. they say the best way in portugal to get seeds is in animal's store

only one question: how many plants do i need, with what i smoke?

GENETICS, GENETICS, GENETICS! Those would be the 3 most important thing to remember... If you are going to bother doing it you may as well do it right. Hemp seeds, or even seeds from that bag of crap weed that was filled with stems and seeds really isnt the answer. I would be looking into ordering good beans from a seed bank.

Absolutely! Genetics is the most important thing in getting good herb. You can’t take a plow horse and win the Kentucky Derby no matter how much you train it and baby it and you can’t take poor genetics and turn it into mind blowing herb. It is what it is and that’s all it will ever be even if grown in absolute perfect conditions.

You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken shit no matter how much mayonnaise you add.

Research strains/hybrids and see what fits your tastes or needs and then but it from the most reputable seedbank you can find and go from there.

Check out the seedbank ratings using the link below and then check out the best rated sites and find some quality beans and go for it.
