DAY 13

here's the girls shots from today, they're still looking nice and bushy. tomorrow they will start on 18/6 lights under the 400watt for the next 4 weeks. i will also be stating them out on the grow big at 1/4 strength (1/4 tsp per gallon). it'll be fun to see what happens!

yeah dr shak, i was only using bag seeds to get some general knowledge of growing gonj, but i tell ya that getting real seeds in to grow rules so much. i really recommend checking out dope-seeds.com i got my seeds from them in 7 days, freaking awesome.

hookedonchronic thanks for the check in, these strains look awesome as hell. i've been trying to find some pics of full grown power plant but have been hard pressed. only a few bud shots.

Thanks hatch, i'm hoping to have about 2 to 4 clones from each plant. but as i'm limited for space i'll have to see. i've just had to chuck out a female plant that was flowering to make room for the new girls (although she may just go outside to see what happens). i would like to double my flowering space by the end of the first harvest to make room for the the next generation of clones.

DAY 14

Today the girls made the switch to the hps they've only been in for a few hours so not too much more growth since yesterday, but still filling out nicely. even little satellite branches starting to leaf out!

Here is Power Plant # 1, she's looking good.

But Power Plant # 2 is looking much bigger and bushier!

And the Rhino's are looking fine....
Here's # 3 the biggest

Here's # 2 she's bending a bit, i think her leaves are getting a little heavy, will adjust fan tomorrow to help thicken up stems.

And finally # 1 looking kick ass

I'm using 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) grow big per gallon (3.8L) of water. Keeping the temps at about 78F (25.5) for now.

I've been reading about using different conditions to increase chances of females and decrease males and hermies. it's pretty interesting stuff but haven't read anything about people trying or anything, but it's recommended by the breeders so it has to have some validity check it. Day 15

Alrighty the girls are in their second day of 400w hps and they are looking fine.
here's power plant # 1

Power plant # 2 the bigger of the two

And the Rhinos

# 3 (really really hope this is female)

# 2 still leaning a bit

# 1

As far as conditions in the environment the temps are at 78.7 with humidity at 45% watered lightly with plain distilled water and will monitor them closely for the next two days if no signs of problems will continue with 1/2 teaspoon grow big per gallon (2.5 ml per 3.8L). I also spray down the walls of the cabinet ever third day with Fox Farm "Don't Bug Me" bug spray. it works really well no bugs at all inside.

Let me know if any of you guys use this Grow Big the stuff is tip top, i've been using with with awesome results, no nute burns or stretching, full lush grown. i really want to get the hydro version for using soiless mix for my next project. check it out:

see for your self this stuff is packed with everything for your plants!

DAY 20

Here's some pics from today, the girls are looking good.

Here's Rhino # 1 She's growing a little crooked, but her stem is thick as hell.

And Rhino # 2

Rhino # 3 Still the biggest, but starting to get a little crooked also!

And Power Plant # 2...

And Power Plant # 1

Found better settings on camera to take pictures with, so these shots look a little better. The plants are growing pretty fast, they will be at 3 weeks on 8/6/08. didn't want to transplant until the end of next week, but will probably need to go into 8" pots as of this weekend. Mean harvest a week early for the biggest girl in the garden. Looks like she'll have at least 14 to 20 grams i'm guessing.

i don't think these are the ppp, pure power plant, or purple power plant. i've heard of crosses between pure and purple # 1 to make the purple power plant. which certainly rolls off the tongue. but i found this strain from dutch passion which is just the "Power Plant" it seemed exotic, and elusive as i've not found many pics of the plant in action. but overall i've heard she packs quit a punch. which is good cause when it comes to smoke, i takes mine to the head. here's a pick i found of a pic of a finished power plant bud from the same kind of seeds:

ok here's the big plant i have now she's at about six weeks or so now, i'm really trying to avoid chopping her early. i was hoping to give her till the end of next week, aroud the 17th or so, but i really need room for the good seeds, tomorrow i'm going to get some more 8" planters and see what fits where, but at least 1 bagseed will have to be evicted tomorrow.

what do you guy think? any guesses on a final weight?

the big plant is just a bag seed my friend had found from a while ago, it still germinated and grew, it was doing horribly during its veg state as i was just learning about growing and didnt do anything right. however, she managed to take off in the last two and half months. she is at day 45 of flowering. i haven't cut her yet, but i'm going to see if i can chop her around the 18th or so

I think it would be cool to let it get to full potential, the other plants seem to be doing well under whatever light they are under, and you dont want to waist your chance at some tasty buds do you!? :joint:

DAY 22

Alrighty, the girls are just over three weeks old. It's been about two days since they've gone into 8" pots. For the most part looking good. Rhino # 3 has had some wilting issues. Also there seems to be a persistent darkening of the stems, it looks purplish like a phosphorus deficiency so i added a bit more P to help green it back up. Hopefully they all perk up a bit after they settle in their new homes.
