Yeah, that's what I have been reading. The plant never really smelled, though and it's trich production was lacking. This was a bag seed and I suspect it was just crappy genetics. The other smelly plant is also from bag seed but from some very good mids (we call it regs here). The shit we are currently smoking is from the same source and is a notch below the highgrade shit and I'm saving those seeds too.

I would invest in some good seeds. You can get them for about 35 bucks from nirvana. I finally broke down and did it, now I'm one of the few and the proud with amsterdam genetics far west.

Got them yesterday, smoke - Master Kush and Early Misty. Already planning next grow - I have most of what I need but planning on getting a 400w HPS/MH. I'll start with the CFLs I have now until I get the new lights.

LOL....thanks, stick and lumber. I'm looking forward to the next grow too. Stick, I grow for our personal use so no corner loitering for me. Although.....if I get some good yields on this next grow, there are some very close friends who I know are always willing to buy some higrade. If I part with anything, it won't be on a large scale, maybe just 2 or 3 friends at 1/2 oz each per month. At $240 a half, that equals between $480-$720. Not big bucks but enough to offset my investment. They will never know it's my personal stash - I will "act" as a middle-man, which I do now on occasion anyways.

St0ned, I have been or had been pruning the badly damaged leaves throughout the grow. As the plant neared the end of the flowering stage, I flushed and stopped giving nutes. A couple days after that, the remaining fan leaves started yellowing and slowly browning. I think it was just a natural process as the plant neared its peak maturity it was using every remaining nute in the soil and in it's structure to pump out the thrichs and bud size.

yeah, that reply i left you was for one of your problems on page 3 (thought it was the last page :P) but yeah, it doesn't really make a difference what happens at the very end of flower cuz by then u most likely got ur shit harvested or too close to it :D

So I checked on what's left on the plant still flowering last night. There are still about 6 bud sites and they are continuing to grow in size. Crystals are forming everywhere and the plant is still really smelly. I checked the trichs and probably about 75% were amber. I'll harvest the rest of it no later than Saturday. Meanwhile, the drying buds continue to be nice and pungent. It's been 5 days drying but they are still somewhat wet. Hopefully I will be able to manicure and begin curing this Sat. The buds from the taller plant already curing still just smell like hay but you can clearly see the little crystals on the buds, so I am still hopeful there will be some kind of a kick to the smoke.

Ok, a bit late with this post. I harvested the remainder of the buds this past Saturday. They were very plump and smelly. Trichs were either cloudy or amber. Probably another 4 or 5 buds. I forgot to weigh them wet. Damn. Also finished manicuring the buds harvested earlier and put them in their jars to cure. I currently have 6 jars with bud curing. The Mrs and I smoked a small dried but uncured bud from the smaller plant and it packs a wallop! Woooohoooo!! I was very concerned whether it would or not. I now plan on curing a full 4 weeks before smoking them. It should be a wicked smoke. Also, this plant also has the odd seed in it too!! Not all the buds are seeded but one or 2 are!

On another note, I took all the clippings, along with a couple buds still curing from the taller plant and made some iso-hash. I probably started with around 2 oz of clippings/bud and ended up with maybe a teaspoon full of hash. So far, we've only sprinkled it on some bud we smoked in our bong. Wicked high but not sure it's worth all the work.

Looks like you have done fairly well for your first grow. I'm hoping to start my own soon if I can talk the old lady into it!

Thanks, Ernie. I can certainly say it's been a labor of love. I had planned on starting the 2nd grow this weekend but just found out my stepson will be visiting for a week later this month. This is the same stepson that discovered our last grow and brought the neighborhood teens into our bedroom closet to show them. It's his 1st visit since then and I'll just wait until he's gone to start again.

best plan i reckon.. you dont want to run unneccessary risks... get a diary going for your master kush, id like to see it go!

Definitely...I have found these journals are extremely helpful in chronicalling each step along the way. I refer back to my earlier posts all the time to see what I did when.

Eggzakly, smoker. Happens to me all the time!

I have 7 jars curing under my sink and I have to keep them in 3 separate piles to distinguish the buds. I have 3 sets of buds curing for 3 different lengths of time. I was too lazy to label them and now I'm starting to get them confused. At least I know by the smell which is the skunkiest shit.
