Premade Cob help

Hey fellas. I wanna dip my toes into cobs after looking around and seeing positive things. However; I do not want to build my own board - maybe later down the road, but for now I'd like to keep it simple for my own sake. The thing I'd like to know is, if it is simple to swap chips on existing premade fixtures? I've seen this Anjeet 1200w on Amazon [can't post links] and have read reviews that suggest simply replacing their inferior chips with Vero 18s, anyone have any clue how simple this is? I can't imagine it's hard, but would like input on how to do this. I would think this is an easy task and I could replace the veros with even better chips if need be later. Thanks!

Most likely the drivers are also garbage. Why start with an inefficient driver, they are the foundation of the light. Meanwell HLG drivers are 93-96% efficient while the ones in that panel are more likely mid 80% and will likely fail. So for every thousand watts you run you are throwing away 100 watts or about a quarter pound.

Makes sense... I will most likely just wait until I'm in a more suitable point in life, then try building one. It's just too much to try to understand for me and fiddle with while also going to school and working. Thanks for the input.
