Well, the tea-baggers pulled one off in Kentucky, Rand paul, son of the legendary Ron paul has won the republican primary in good old kentucky. I cant wait to see the gloating on this site. All the crazy righties will come out with their predictions about them taking over the government. I wonder, seriously, do the righties really think they can abscond with the federal government. I'd say the odds are pretty slim to none. I feel a democratic backlash a commin.

I bet he won't win in November though. Hear me now believe me later. The media hasn't focused on the Democrat side of that race at all. But both Democrats running for the seat got more votes than Rand Paul today which means Democrats came out in larger numbers. One could assume the same will happen in November. We will see though. I think it's funny that Mitch McConnells candidate lost.

Tea-baggers, Crazy righties, abscond?!? More of the typical name calling.
It always amazes me how persons act so above others and yet show the same attitudes and actions as those they rail against.
You rail against Rand Paul and the ,"Tea-baggers" and yet you did not state one single thing about Rand Paul that you personally are against besides that he is on the right and a tax revolt tea-party candidate. Instead of spouting some weak rant about the teaparty and crazy righties, which BTW makes you appear a simple minded hater why don't you post what about Rand Paul you consider bad.

I'm glad that a third party is getting some votes finally. We need more, even if we have to start with a party like the TEA party. A start is a start

Good for him. Perhaps this will send a message to the karl rove wing of the GOP...I wouldn't get my hopes up though.

How about specter loosing to sestak? Joe sestak is pretty impressive and he'll have a much better chance at winning in november than specter due to not being a spineless turncoat without any principles. Maybe obama can give poor old arlen a cushy administration job...?

Olberman was saying republican primaries in Kentucky usually have low turnouts compared to the democrats, it made me feel slightly better. Good job Rand!

I guess you aren't above a little name calling yourself. You may notice that I didn't make it personal, Tea-baggers, crazy Righties, Just the generalization of the breed. You on the otherhand made it very personal, Calling "ME" a simple minded Hater. I smell hypocracy all over your post. If in fact you are part of the general nomenclature, then you must be the shithead I assumed. Remember, it was you that made it personal, Ta Ta fuckwad. BTW, what I find unacceptable about Paul is his "kill the social programs". I do agree with some of his tenets, like bring the troops home, cut out the pork, overhaul the financial system, get rid of lobbiests, Oh wait, is getting rid of lobbiests really part of his agenda, I really don't know. It would be part of mine. Even if he makes it to the senate, he will have very little power and will be more like a voice in the wilderness, just like his dads.

I am all for dumping the old blood incumbents. They are like recycled sludge and nothing but tools of the Corporate sponsors that fund their elections.
Rand paul is a True libertarian candidate

So because you generalized your statements they are not name calling. Because you lumped those who support Rand Paul as Crazy Righties you are above the rancor. By calling persons in the teaparty," Teabaggers" you are innocent of name calling. Perhaps you should take a closer look at yourself. I Could as easily say that I did not call you a simple minded hater since I did not. I said your name calling gave you the appearance of a simple minded hater. There is a difference you know.
If you cannot actually come up with a reason that you disagree with Rand Paul, his positions or platform and actually agree with his position and platform then what are really making such a fuss about in regards to his nomination.. One can only concluded that it is in regards to your dislike of the teaparty, or teabaggers as you call them and the Crazy righties you obviously hate.

I can agree with the above actions, with the exception of the DOE eradication. Like I said, he has some good points, but to dump most of the social programs, give the SS money to Wall street, Yeah we can see how that might play out, and some of his other libertarian Ideas that seem rather oriented towards the richer side of the country, I can't abide that. You libertarians have a warped view of the average citizen. You all look down on anyone that hasn't achieved the wealth and position you have achieved in life. In effect, you have a superiority complex, an unwarranted one at that. The belief that some people are better than others, soley because of their wealth is really juvenile. I guess that is what really bugs me about you teabaggers and libertarians, your lack of maturity. When you grow the fuck up, then I'll consider debating with you, meanwhile, I'll take everything you post with a huge grain of "salt", and just consider the source. You libertarians are all about I, Ego, Id.

So I am a liberertarian and I am wealthy and I have a superiority complex, I look down on anyone who does not achieve my position in life. More of the same assumotive , no basis rhetoric. I am not a libertarian, I am definitely not wealthy.
It appears that you do not like to have your off base opinions questioned or pointed out as non-sequiter. Am I wrong for pointing out that your posting a rant about Rand Pauls nomination in regards to Teabaggers and crazy Righties when you actually agree with many of his positions as appearing to be based in simple hatred of the groups you generalize?

It is not exactly hatred. Hatred is a tool of the feeble minded. Dislike, hell yeah. When a political party or view threatens my way of life, I am certainly not predisposed to like it/them. To say I actually hate them, is extremely strong rhetoric. From my viewpoint, while watching the teabaggers riot /assemble, my opinion was they were extremely agitated and thus extremely stupid. I actually know one of these idiotic teabaggers, my friends brother. I tried to have a conversation with him and he started screaming at me, calling me a commie etc. Now If I hadn't been a level headed dude, I'd have probably stomped a mudhole in his ass, I didn't, more out of respect for my friend who was there also. I said to my friend, look, if you don't want your brother getting hurt, I'd suggest you calm him down, which he did. That's when I found out how off their rocker these dudes were. That's the same way the righties conduct conversations, Like as in "Fuck you you commie bastard, I hope you and your kind rot in hell". My kind? They have no knowledge or interest in what my kind actually is. In fact, I actually agree with some of the rights agenda. Example: Illegal aliens. They dislike them except when they need to hire cheap labor, hypocracy at it's finest. I agree that government should not spend more than they take in. SS, could be saved by actually removing the cap on SS deductions, now that is against the righties stance, eh? Make more pay more, what say you?

I say pay exactly the same, accross the board. I am in favor of a 10% accross the board tax. No exeptions for the poor or the rich. Or even a sales tax only provision. that applies to goods sold, except of course food.

As far as the Lunacy of the bteaparty. I have had some teaparty members go half cocked on me, but I have aslo had some very, very good debates with them. The very same can be said for the Left. I have had more left wing zealots call me a racist xenophobe and actually threaten me in the last year because of my position regarding amnesty than I have ever had right wingers do so in my entire left leaning lifetime. Last year at a freinds Dojo I was discussing amnesty with a few people at his martial arts studio. I clearly stated that I support legal immigration and clearly stated that I have only love for persons of Mexican descent, " as I do"
One of the guest students became highly agitated and called me a racist and a piece of shit and would not listen to reason at all and invited me to a bare knuckle match. I am not a large framed person and actually very unimposing, he was 6'1" easy and kinda buffed. I guess he figured he was gonna mop me up. My friend asked him twice if he was sure that was what he wanted. Long story short , my friend made us wear gloves, headgear and kick protectors because he knew what was going to happen. He attacked me full force and so I let him have it. After 2 1/2 minutes I had kicked him so many times he was bleeding from his mouth, nose and had a nasty gash in his cheekbone that required 8 stitches. I would not have treated him so rough had he not been trying to take my head off.
When we were done my friend made him sit down and listen to me say that I have nothing but love for Mexican persons , which BTW the friend who's dojo we were in is Mexican.
I only cite this example because I have always had mainly left leaning Ideals, having been shown the darkside of the persons I identify with was a serious eye opener for me. I have never been attacked or threatened by a right winger, ever and I have had some loud, boistrous debeates with quite afew right wingers.

Let me just skip over most of what you said and ask: ahem, flat tax?

Seriously, a flat tax?
And what is wrong with a flat tax? AS long as it is applied accross the board. At present we are paying what amounts to a flat tax only the rich and the poor are pretty much exempt, as exemplified in the statistic that 47% of Americans do not pay taxes and further that the rich are loaded with tax writeoffs that reduce their burden to very low taxes. The middle class pay what amounts to 28+% of their income in taxes. An unfair burden by any account.

I hardly can see how you can support someone at the poverty line paying the same percentage as someone sailing yachts, for a number of reasons. That person sailing yachts, who has accumulated such wealth, is not being punished for making more, as they would selfishly argue, but rather are paying back to the infrastructure that allowed them to become wealthy. Not to mention that 10% of 15,000 is forcing poverty dude to decide between toiletries and food, while 10% of 150,000 is deciding between an Infiniti and a Lexus, and 10% of 1.5 million is deciding between vacation home in Costa Rica or Belize.

I guess you should count yourself with Buchanan and Glenn Beck on this one....

Is that right. I should count myself with the Becks or Buchanans. How can I support my position with someone at the poverty line paying 10% you ask? Because I and my family are well below the poverty line in relation to income level so the assumptions you make are of no substance. I would be willing to pay my 10% if the rich were required to do the same. At this point I am in the 47% who pay little to no taxes so how does that sit with your assessment. I would be willing to pay for my fair share of taxes and remove the burden from the middle class.
I am working hard to raise the income level of my household. As I post here I am also working to complete my website for a silkscreening business I hope will add income to my home. I am 47% disabled and unable to work for a standard employer due to the restrictions of what I can lift, stand or do. I do not ask for disability or assistance because I will do this on my own sweat and not take away any benefits that would go to someone more infirmed than myself.

I say put your money where your mouth is. do you pay taxes or are you in the 47% as well.

Please give us some proof of this statement medicated( Example: Illegal aliens. They dislike them except when they need to hire cheap labor, hypocracy at it's finest. )

Typical rhetoric from your kind.
