Range Rover runs over biker...

I'm surprised to not be hearing more people talking about this one.

If you haven't seen the video, check it out.

My opinion... Homeboy in the Range had no right to attempt to kill anybody. Hypothetically, let's say that every single biker involved was being an ignorant, hot-headed ass hole. Let's say that a biker hit the Range in the first place, due to reckless, shitty riding, and he was completely at fault from the beginning. He then gets pissed off at dude in the Range just for existing, because, hypothetically speaking, guy on the bike is an ignorant, hot-headed ass hole. Now he brake checks the Range, which we can see in the video, and the Range runs into the bike. Hot-headed bikers now start talking shit and surround the Range.

How did that give this guy in the Range the right to fucking run a person over? He had not been attacked.

Let's say I walk into some bar I've never been to, and I am surrounded by a large group of tatted up, rough ass looking dudes. I get into a verbal altercation with one of them. Yeah I'm gonna feel threatened, and possibly scared for my life. Does that mean I should get off scott free for trying to kill one of them?

I'm not defending the bikers. I don't actually know what went down. I do know that they were in NYC, and the police could have been there in a matter of moments if the dude had just called 911. Instead of trying to talk to the bikers, or being a pansy and calling 911, he decided to be a killer.

rover boy rear ended a bike, apparently deliberately, then ran, making that felony hit and run, he then when pursued, he tried to run down another biker who was attempting to apprehend him.

roverboy is at fault, 100%, and deserves the beatdown which will inevitably come to him.

A gang of bikers attacked a man driving a Range Rover and broke his leg Sunday after he accidentally hit one of them on Manhattan's West Side Highway.
"It was an accident," Lt. Karen Anderson said.
The man was in the car with his wife and daughter when the incident took place. After he pulled over to check on the man he hit, the bikers surrounded the SUV and began hitting it and spiking the tires, police said.
The driver then attempted to escape, hitting three more bikers in the process and unraveling a 5-minute-long chase that ended with the driver having to pull over due to tire damage. At this point, the gang -- known as "Hollywood Stuntz" according to police -- cornered the man and beat him.

dude in the range rover was protecting his wife and kid.

wannabe badasses on the bikes were protecting their delicate egos and latent homosexual impulses.

i wish the guy in the range rover had racked up a higher body count.

PANIC THAT'S HOW. I ride a bike and while riding up in the mountains, I had a band of these rice rockets all dressed in red come up behind me, thank god I was alone that morning, I moved over to the right, edge of the road, as they came up on me, one hit my handle bar sending me into the sidce of the mountain, they were speeding and took off and let me there to die. in the same token I have had people run me down in cars and tip me, with my wife on me, all I can say is I can not drive a bike with a gun on meas I would have killed a few people now.

II see the biker pulled up in front of the RR and then turns back and slows down on the guy just 3 feet in front of him, now think, was the driver distracted ? all the bikes alone would scare and distract most people, this was a accident, they could have called the police, but instead they did a move like that idiot in florida did and they follow the guy and corner him, I saw the panic as the biker opened the back door where his little girl was, he panicked and took off , and hit another biker, I do not see a intent to hit that biker, just PANIC FLIGHT.

sad and tragic, let's hope the biker does not die. I see guys like this showing off on rice rockets on Pacific Coast hwy all the time . usually wearing a tshirt and flip flops.

I still remember my broken ribs and road rash and how hard I smash the blacktop that sunday morning up on that mountain, to this day that "trill " road continues to rack up more deaths than any other road in southern California you can look up Glendora mountain road, I'm sure you will find lots of fatalities, anyways I'm here for POT , so adios

His wife and 2 year old daughter was with him
He had an accident
The guy he hit (broken leg) Buddies stabbed the guys tires and started kicking his car.

What would you do if a bunch of people attacked your car with your family in it?

i would learn to drive better.

i doubt he would rear end a towtruck or a semi, he was inattentive, and i doubt that his shit was attacked before he ran like a bitch.

had the downed rider been alone, the roverboy would doubtless have left him there in the Mud and Scuttled away.

Guy in the SUV was wrong
But it was an accident
The guy he hit pulled his little ass jap bike in front of him
Then slowed down.
The SUV driver hit his rear wheel

Everything after that was the bikers fault and the cops have been arresting those involved for the last 3 days

One thing is sure. The lawyers are gonna make bank sorting out the guilt. No clue about NY but I think in Cali and Texas there's a law against switching lanes and slamming on the brakes- supposed to deter those douchebags who constantly switch lanes in rush hour.

The New York City Police Department said a man driving a Range Rover with his wife and 2-year-old daughter inside Sunday struck a motorcyclist on Manhattan's West Side Highway, breaking his leg.
The biker who was struck by the SUV, 28-year-old Christopher Cruz, was later arrested and faces several charges, including reckless endangerment, reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said on Tuesday.
Earlier an NYPD spokeswoman, Lt. Karen Anderson, described the original incident by saying, "It was an accident."

Had the rider been alone, I doubt he would have done something so dumb as pull in front of an SUV and jam on the brakes.

Pure stupidity on the bikers part.

I'm just confused about this whole sub-culture.

in Australia our biker gangs are big hairy tuff guys on Harley's, that like loud and bad handling bikes.

then you have your sport bike scene, these guys like nice windy roads, they enjoy the pure form of riding fast bikes and the enjoyment of open roads and twisty corners. They ride alone or in packs of two or three.

then you have scooter riders who generally live in the cities and use them as a cheap transport.

then you have your dirt/adventure bike riders, these guys.........the point is they don't mix and ride in packs around shitty congested roads

wtf is this "biker gang" ?? There's a dude on a quad bike lol, that's what our farmers use.

I can't think of a worse way to ride.

hahahaha, its not a gang its a group.. i said it in the other thread about this, most of those people probably dont really know what happened and turned around to see a bunch of bikes getting ran over and other people running... i like how he just got away with hit and run(s) .. i read that his tires got slashed but i didnt see it.. and he wasnt driving on a slashed tire. that guy deserved to be beaten. anyone with a baby in the car willing to be near that many sportbikes/dirtbikes is just a dumbass anyway and should be charged with child endangerment. between the noise and how wreckless people can be on bikes in large groups.. especially considering a shitload of them didnt have plates on them. he should of known to pull over and pick another way .. sure he was legally allowed to be on the road and the bikers wont. but im legally allowed to go into kensington at 3 in the morning showing off money... but thatd be fucking stupid.

I thought this was a well known trick? Though I never heard it done with bikes. He did the right thing. Who knows what they would've done otherwise. The only thing I'd have done differently was plowed on through and dialed 911. The guy above, :finger:

I had this happen to me about 8 years ago. I got side swiped by this woman. When I pull over, this man pulls in front of me and says how he saw it. That I was reckless and could've killed her, and threatens me.I just drove off. I had already gave my insurance card. When I get home she calls a few hours, threatens hit and run. I go to the police. Tell the police I *69 her. The police say don't bother getting phone record. This is a common scam not worth prosecution and to give my car insurance the scam's police incident report number to pay my damages. So yeah.

I dont think he jammedon the brakes, he just cut right in front and proceeded to slow down.

Yesterday I had a car pull out in front of me doing 10 mph, had to swerve to the right missed him by about 8 inches. about 2 miles down the road some guy in a car saw the whole thing said I missed the idiot by a half inch.
Definatly got my heartrate going
