how are they cheaper? if i compare at cutter, the 660 are even cheaper then the 620/630
and please show me some source where i can see 630 have ~20-30% greater radiometric efficiency then 660 nowadays
My thoughts exactly, 660 nm deep reds have dominated for a while now. Flora did mention that info was from 2012, five years is a long time especially in LED tech.

you mean the 1st chart in the 1st picture?if yes, yea 630 seems a bit more RQE. But then look at the 2nd chart "Leaf absorptance"

Or you mean something other?
Try by Balancing all the charts out. I don't know enough to specify. Just what I've learned to be true based on older readings & talking to others that know more about it then me.
From what I understand more 630 can be delivered more efficiently equalling the photosynthetic effects of 660 w/ less chance of bleaching. Other reasons too.
Notice the burple comp. use 660 but white lights from Apache to BudMaster along w/ many others used the 630 instead.
