? Ready for cut

First grow just wondering if i could get any insight on when this plant will be ready for harvest almost 9 weeks since I flipped the light schedule don’t want to cut to early and I know it’s better to leave a lil longer but not to long any input appreciated thanks

I hold my shitty one against my phone camera, and combined with the phones zoom get pretty good shots. Can zoom in farther after the pic is taken

If it is not ready yet it is super close. I have a hard time using my jewelers loops to see trichomes so I bought a cheap ($20) USB microscope from Amazon that I think will work really well. I haven't had a chance to use it for trichs yet but I have tested on random other things to make sure it will do what I need it to and it definitely looks like it will.

Just looking outside the box here but did you flush and no nutes the last two weeks? I'm trying to go by the depletion of nutrients in the leaves and it would seem like you have another week at least if you did flush. Not saying that trich scoping isn't the best method because it is but if the homie doesn't have a magnification device strong enough there are other options.

They have a loupe on eBay for under $5. Works great and does the job.

Ya it’s been almost 2 weeks without nutes just ph water and I have a loupe just hard to tell I’m going to try and use phone camera and loupe and see if I can tell if trichs are ready how else would you tell besides the trichs and btw thanks for all the input

Ive been hearing that a lot lately but someone a long time ago told me that apart from taste, he “flushes” for bud swelling. Can you give me some insight? What does the nug do just soak up water thru the plant??

It is "broscience"I heard some old wives tale and passed it on
I grow in soil if you just feed them water the last two weeks it doesn't change a thing
So I feed up to three days from harvest

A little info on flushing.....it’s a hot topic.

Bro science? By flushing the soil you get rid of salt build up that would otherwise continue to feed and keep the plant green until harvest day. It forces the plant to use stored nutrients in the leaves and there are about 1,000,000 pictures of this process on this website alone. I'm not saying flushing gets the nutrients out of the weed. smh

What are you saying then? Plants dont store nute bottles in there leaves..... Do they?
I dont smoke the soil or roots.

I'm saying that flushing gets the nutrients out of the soil. The purpose of doing that is so that the plant consumes the nutrients stored in the leaves. If there are nutrients left in the soil the plant won't consume the nutrients in the leaves and it will stay green.

You seem very confused and unable to handle this immensely simple conversation. The whole reason for asking if he flushed was so that I could tell if his leaves should be yellow. That's how you could determine ripeness without a magnification device but since he has one you don't need to question me any further. Pretty straight forward even stoned so you might wanna go see a doctor.

How else are you going to get clean coco for the next run without flushing? Flush it after and let it sit wet?
