Literally not one Republican will vote for any Democrat. The fact that it is being discussed is laughable. If Progressives want to shoot themselves in the foot, let them.
So-called 'progressives' are really nothing more than tea party idiots on the other end of the spectrum.

Nobody takes them seriously. Nobody ever will. In the end, all they do is fuck up their respective party's chances in elections.

Only a 12 of US Congressmen (6 Senators and 6 Reps) who caucus with Democrats could be called centrist or moderate. The rest vote to support crucial progressive issues more than 80% of the time. Cult of Sanders hijacked the term to mean somebody in their cult. If Pelosi isn't a progressive then neither is Sanders. They both have about the same progressive voting record. Except Pelosi actually has enacted progressive legislation and Bernie just names post offices.

pro·gres·sive

  1. 1.
a person advocating or implementing social reform or new, liberal ideas.
synonyms: innovator, reformer, reformist, liberal, libertarian
"he is very much a progressive"

Kyle Kulinski is host for a propaganda show that supports the right wing agenda. Anything that comes from him is suspect.
@Padawanbater2 is correct..voters are more progressive than you think..i believe hillary would've won if she moved further left- and she had that opportunity..she chose 'i'm not trump' and 'it's my turn'.

pretty selfish.

There's first gotta be enough support for more than a 2 party system which there isn't in this current time. The majority are more than happy to be either a democrat or a republican. The throw away candidates aren't really paid much attention to by the mainstream public.

Actually I'm agreeing that most voters support progressive issues. That's what happened this election, we voted for progressive Democrats. The disagreement is where you claim most voters want the poorly crafted legislation that Sanders wrote for universal healthcare and other fern seed from Bernie. Not because they don't support universal access to health care, Bernie's bill was simply bad.
