Reasons to buy from an LP

I'm aware you deal directly with the LP, but as you said yourself the LP will send in the MMAR pink slip if that's what you choose to use to register. If you sign up with a new medical document that's essentially the same thing as turning over your pink slip. Just because you still have actual possession of your pink license does not mean it's still valid. There are a lot of people still holding their pink MMAR forms who cannot legally grow anymore.

I'm still covered and wanted to see for myself what the LPs were selling to patients, I wanted to register until I learned that I would be giving up my right to still grow and produce for myself.
Hey Pk. I think what your trying to tell Leaf here is that the LP will turn your name over to HC. Thereby eliminating the validity of his pink slip and his mmar patient status. It doesn't matter if it is a new form from a Doctor or the old pink slip. Either way you get plopped into the new unfair rip-off mmpr. And loose your mmar status.
I have heard that also.
So Leaf. do see his point now. I don't know if it true but have heard that as well.

Funny how HC doesn't have a workable mmar database anymore...until they want to scratch you off it. Then it seems to work plenty good.

I no longer believe that signing up with an LP will void your pink, provided you use a medical document. I used to think that was the case. LPs that gather and submit pinks, yes, you are fucked. Documents I believe to be different.
Regardless, I have two dg pinks so I can keep going.
Once the case is settled my son will continue to use the pink...and if he ever runs afoul of the law....well we will have the money to take their sorry asses to court and sue the fuckers.

I don't see why you can't just get pricing from say 5 LPs .... notoriety it..... take the average price.... submit as lp average price point. ... take your future costs from that.... if the lp makes you pay for shipping add that too... roughly 20 bucks I would say across Canada. .. cp

Can't argue with math.... take screen shots of pricing .... get them to send pricing in a email.... of course don't say what yer using it for....
Shit simple and no incurred costs buying lp weed.... cause ya can't afford it right???
Use simple math

Goldstars uses the price of $15 per gram straight up as the bases for the mathematical formulation for figuring out how much you should claim as damages against the gov for not being able to grow our own. Why take an average of the lower priced lp shit. Only the best meds will do so why short change yourself?

When you sue the gov, you sue the people of Canada. Our tax dollars is what you get. There's got to be a better way. Money shouldnt be the goal, change is. Vote ABC

Being something argued in court...to determine a payout...I could see why you want to bring actual costs/expense to the table rather than a calculated average.

It's just to put a dollar value on it. I haven't spoke to anyone who's filed goldstars who actually wants the $$. We all really just want the right to produce our own or have a dg and not have the yearly renewal from the weed doctor because real doctors won't prescribe it in most cases just due to not being able to perscribe it in standard dosage and pressure from the college of physicians. Really we want to be able to use mj if we have a condition that's helped by using it with little over site. No od's on mj ever is a huge point to make in front of a judge. The scoc said we deserve reasonable access and we do not have that currently.

I would rather do this, but buying from an LP and submitting the expenses is what is required in this case.

Insurance company?
At this point in time I can't get into too many details, but ultimately yes it will be an insurance company that pays.
I guess I started this thread to point out that there are certain scenarios where buying from an LP works.

Just wondering if anyone else has identified another reason to buy from an LP? ( other than the one time initial purchase for the packaging )
