the 240v 45amp circuit will be on a 10mm twin and earth cable.

this circuit will carry 45amps (10,800 watts) before the 10mm cable will start to heat up as the cable will start to heat up at 53 amps, so the 45 amp mcb (mini circuit breaker) will trip when you exceed this (10,800w) 45 amp load or the 45 amp fuse will burn out.

you can run this cable through your house to a consumer unit. http://www.screwfix.com/p/5-way-100a-double-pole-isolator/54580

you can then use 5 x 10 amp mcbs inside the consumer unit http://www.screwfix.com/p/volex-vb10-10a-sp-type-b-mcb-6ka/55312

each 10 amp mcb will carry 2400 watts before it trips.

you can buy a roll of 2.5mm twin and earth cable http://www.screwfix.com/p/prysmian-6242yh-twin-earth-cable-grey-2-5mm-x-25m/78006

this cable will be more than adequate as it can carry 4800 watts .

you can buy 3mm earth sleeving from ebay. you must cover any earth sleeving that you have bared inside a socket or consumer unit as the earth sleeving is self extinguishing and will not burn during an electric trip or fault.

you can run each mcb to 5 x 2 gang sockets giving you 10 x sockets in total each double socket can carry a total load of 2400 watts before it will trip.
you will be well below this with a normal grow room.

you can then fuse each individual appliance to its rated fuse in the 3 prong plug.

you must be certain that you are using the correct rating for each appliances cable.

these mini circuit breakers trip when you exceed the load and they trip when they detect an earth leak from any equipment or electric shock using the live red/brown and the earth (green/yellow) to trip the system.

you can double up the protection by using a double gang rcd ( residual current device ) socket which protects anyone that is in contact with electricity tripping the system using the live red/brown and the negative blue ( black) wire as an earth detecting electric shock.
these sockets trip in miliseconds saving any electrocuted person from death as it trips in 1.7miliseconds and also has a test button.

if you have a fire or an electric shock death after this i will eat my hat.

remember the original 45 amp cable must be protected with a 45 amp fuse or mcb. to protect it from burning.

simple as that.

total cost : excluding the 10mm cable and any socket boxes is ---- : consumer unit = £14.59
5 x 10 amp mcbs = £19.25
25m x 2.5 cable = £18.29
5 x 2 gang sockets = £8.55

total = £60.68

using rcd sockets instead total = £162.08
