my new room just started 12/12 this am my new log will start today
flat garden 2 600 co2 air cooled and all the goodys
the vert turn out around a perfect .78gpw
i am gonna beat it this time 1.0
yes 600 grams a 600 (in my dreams )

so on this next run when iwatch for 3 months you better get 5 out of that beast or come back to flat side of things

haha i agree with ya there. my main problem is not being able to secure enough clones to run a single strain.. however, this go around i have a feeling that it is going to work out juuuuust fine.. the strain ill be using is not a great yielder however, im going to veg them out a tad bit larger and pump a ton of co2 in that mofo.. now that i got all the bugs worked out this is going to be the real test, and you are right if i dont pull 5 then i should probably go back to flat while i go back to the drawing board as well LOL. i already know of a few faults in the system, one being i need a higher plant count, and another 2 sides in the middle but we will see what happens this go round

Why dont you just get some good genetics and clone them? It would be much easier to reload, and you wont risk bringing in bugs or anything from other grows.

Nice grow, Flojo. I like the slightly canted hydroton pots with overhead feed, as well as the utilization of the floor space for additional plants. 
When you say fully sealed system, do you mean sheetrocking it in, setting up a Dark Room tent, or what? Can't you control the environment of the room given its current parameters?

I'm getting ready to build a real similar setup as this but in a 5x6 area. I plan on one shelf made the same as yours with drip to match and the floor row will be an ebb&gro bucket system i already have. For lighting I was thinking a 60" cooltube w/ a 1000 on top and a 600 on the bottom(already have the 1000)tube will have outside to outside venting at about 250cfm. And a 8" vortex pushin thru a big ass scrubber.
How close doyou thinki could get the plants to the light tube?
what gph is you dripper pump, how much how often?
Do you think a screen would help out with final yeilds?
And last i talked to the guy at my hydro shop and he said that the lights hung vertical only covers about a foot and a half horizontly, Is he Full of shit?Id think the light would come out in more of a 360* pattern then straight of the sides
any suggestion you could give me would be very helpful thanks

a 1000 light i would imagine that if your plants finish bout 2 feet from the light you will be fine.. my 600s finish about a foot away bare bulb
my pump is like 500+ gph, depending on the medium i feed anywhere from 4-8 times a day..
a screen will help hold em up, but unless you did a scrog type screen it wont make a huge difference..
no it does not cover a foot and a half.. as you can see i have 2 600w bulbs that cover about 6 feet vertical.. it is a tad more intense in the middle but there is not a huge difference. he probably has never grown vertically and is telling you what the reflector dealers tell him LOL

and round 3 has started, i am waiting till i start flowering to show off my new goodies haha
