thanks for the good feedback growwww, i'm pleased with how things are going for the moment
i'm watching/measuring the jock horror pretty close, not sure how high this thing will bolt
unless it's a male of course, in which case i don't care too much
does look like it's putting out pistils though

about a week of flowering, and the rewards are beginning to show
the nl#5 is around 10 inches, and bushing up more every day
looks like it will a dome of buds, what a change from the mom
mom threw out a large spike of a main cola
5500k is still the light, 2700k soon
i changed to 2700k at 2 weeks of flower last time
like to see the pistils well formed before changing, worked well last time anyways
jock horror is at 9 inches, squat but branchy with wide gaps between nodes
does look a lot like other jock grows i've watched
my nl#5 has a tiny bit of odor, the jock is effectively ZERO
you have to get within an inch with your nose to smell anything
and that isn't much, it is supposed to be a pretty low odor strain
can't make a flower call for sure yet, but does look female

evening growww, the top is a steel pizza dish
lights are mounted in sockets, dish fits like a dome on top of the tube
now watering, that i've done several ways
currently, just pop the pot right out by lifting
the pot is on top of a pedestal of bricks, which gets the plant right up to the cfl's
when the pedestal gets low, i lift up the tube, that's at the end of the flowering stage

what kind of rocks are you growing in ? sorry if this has been answered before.
nope, hasn't come up yet
it's actually just a layer of pebbles over dirt
it keeps the top layer of dirt moist, get root growth right up to the top of the soil

Plants are lookin great growone...what a comeback! NL#5 is lookin great... If that Jock Horror is a sativa it has some pretty fat leaves...I see the holes on top of your pot for the JH, you thinkin about doin a bit of training on her?

yah,it's amazing how a damaged plant can spring back, i really tried the micro setup to the bitter end, just wouldn't work for me
and the JH fat indica leaves, some JH show this indica trait, it's a pheno that is out there
training is my fall back plan, hoping i can pull it off as a natural plant

For vegging cfl grows fat lil seedlings but for flowering i just can't see it doing so well. HPS all the way!

It's about the knowledge, and if you can do it small, then you'll be better off if you feel it's time for a bigger scale. It's inspiring and motivating to see other do their thing and don't worry about haters. Peace

i'm kind of amazed at the 1 kw HPS grows, but grows like those give you a good pound of weed(with most strains)
i do not want a pound of bud, it's a lot more than i need and is a pretty nasty risk
for those fortunate to be legal, that's a lot more understandable
but to tell you the truth, i probably wouldn't do a 1 kw grow even if legal, just burning up electric power
no reservations on HPS, probably the biggest grow i would do would be a 250w one

a bit over 13 inches tall, she's going to be a plump girl
