my other grow was males. this i tried 10 seeds, 9 germed, and 6 grew. 2 out of 6 were males. this is bagseed as i'm learning the indoor ways. these are 1 month old and i plan to put in bigger pots this weekend. at the moment i have 4 55 watt 2700k cfls and have about 17 more in the 13 and 23 watt ranges and if i can get a little money from the ol lady it will all be 23's and no 13's. i got poster board to go into the sides of my box but haven't done it yet. now i'm going to clean up the inside of the box, i clean on thursday evening as nobody is here then. peace

Doin' ok man.
Looks like you're about ready for a transplant though, before they start getting sad looking.
How far along are you? Might even be ready to start feeding.
Don't toss your 13's, I am still using my 13's from last veg, along with some 23w 2700k's like I did last time.
If you're gonna go spend money, get some splitters and ADD lights.

went to walmart last night and was looking for light sockets, nope none, no splitters or nothing. the ol lady got some rooting compound and i saw some super thrive, but i needed soil so i got soil. the transplant is today.

right now i have a 17"x16" piece of aluminum plate with 4-55 watt 2700k 2-26 watt 2700k and 1-13 watt 2700k having a hard time finding light sockets in the area. i have two double sockets that i'm going to use as side lights and some drop lights for as needed. these are 12/12 from seed. the light bill it's hard to tell as mine is over 300.00 every month, house is all electric.

For what you listed, I don't think they are contributing to your monthly bill more than $10-15, but Lowe's or Depot is where I usually get my splitters and shit, but you gotta ask, hard to find the way they leaves shit in the cardboard bins.

these are starting to flower and i thought the n should be lower in flower. should i give it a dose of watered down coffee?

alright being they are in early flower i gave them some watered down coffee. now to see if it helps. the first grow i didn't have the yellow leaves problem other then under watering, and i had let these go a little long but not dry, so we will see.

i guess they where low on n as i gave each of them a half gallon of watered down coffee. they are looking better now and need fed. i found at home depot alaska morbloom 0-10-10, i'm going to go get tomorrow. i haven't been able to tend vary well the last three days, so while i had them out to water i got some pics. they are 36 to 41 days old and are doing ok. i believe they are going to be on the short side as they range from about 8" to 14" after transplant last weekend, but may prove me wrong. the first one to start flower is in about 13 days of flower and the last ones are 7 to 9 days.

ok i had not fed my plants and started having some yellowing lower leaves, so i made up a lite dose of watered down coffee and fed, they seemed to like it, i waited a week or so and i got some 10-10-10 plant food, and gave a lite dose of it to them. well they didn't seem to like it so i flushed last night one gallon on each plant, and the drain off water looks like weak coffee darker brown. now i know i didn't give to much coffee as the water just did change color when i did give the coffee, and the plant food is clear. the soil is nk (ormi) organic, is has sphagnum peat moss, horticultural vermiculite, perlite and wetting agent what ever that is, and no food. so what did i miss? why is my run off so dark?

pics are a day early. about 42 to 47 days in and about 15 to 19 days flower. pics are not that good and they look a little bigger then they are. they seem to have slowed down some. i have been trying to find some of the digital ph testers and have not found any, i guess i'll have to get one on the net. i did find some pool testing strips and i believe my ph is low like in the 5's so i'm going to add some baking soda to the next watering. i did a one gallon flush on them last night and this is what the drain water looked like.

here's some side shots of the flowers. i know i'm not going to get a lot off of them but i am learning to grow indoors, and already planning for a better setup for a chance to let one veg before it gets 12/12.

alright i got up 2 gallons of water added a 1/2 teaspoon baking soda to each and raised ph to 8+ and added a 1/2 teaspoon of epson salt, gave each plant a half gallon. checked run off and the ph is down to around 5.5, so the next watering will get more baking soda. i know i should use lime or egg shell but i don't have time this round, it will be mixed in my soil next round.

thought i would show some pics of my homemade carbon filters. got the carbon from wally world and the plumbing from home depot. i wish i had taken pics of it as i was making them but i didn't know if it would work, well it does. i still got to make a mount, but the wire spool works for now.

very nice filter setup. i am tweaking mine as i go i just added a second diy carbon filter yesterday.
small grow space means need lots of exhaust to keep my temps down.
plants are looking a bit better do not be afraid to feed N all through your flower if the plant is asking for it,
keep up the hard work it will def pay off.
