Ahh ok on the timer thing. Think the little bride's Jap car uses the same method to make you think you need an oil change. It also turns on the check motor gauge when you forget to make the gas cap click 3 times when you put it back on after gassing up. Whuts up with that deal? Thanks for straightening out that little technological foo paw:)

Actually that light just means it's been two weeks since it was last reset. It's not that smart.

Hey guys and gals Chill.

Thanks Big D.

There is no piont in dissing anyones system, I am intersted in every method of growing. For exaple I love hydro, but that doesn't mean I diss organics or soil. There great to.

Hempy seems like a realy nice and simple system, that doesn't mean it's better than any other system of growing, differant things work for differant people in differant situations. The same goes for DWC, Ario, E&F and organics. It's all good.

My plants are looking loads better, I will post some pics thiseveing.
Didn't want to seem hostile, it's just that I've used a few systems; including soil. I stuck with ebb&flo/flood&drain tables for quite a while because I learned the system and it was working great for me, but I wanted to try something that would give me a larger yield.

So I tried DWC and found that it required just a little too much maintenance. Now I'm someone that loves spending time in the growroom - talking to my plants (which they love cause of the CO2 that we humans put off), playing music for them, re-arranging them and a host of other tasks... But the constant tooling around with PH and such was maddening.

Moving to Hempy has solved all these issues for me. Sure I know it's not for everyone, nothing is. And I thought about automating the watering system, but when I water them - it's a perfect opportunity for me to talk to my girls and just enjoy being around them. So I've decide not to automate and just stick with the original Hempy program.

Guess I might be one of those types that love the gardening part as much as the toking part of cultivating weed. And since I am also a lazy stoner type... lol (not suggesting that any of you are), this system works awesome for me.

I feel the same way WWW, when I check my hempy and water them I dont mind, its the only excuse I have to mess with them, I dreaded every morning with my DWC, I never knew where the ph was going to be.. I have grown soil, dwc, and soil, and for me hempy is the best by far

Right on BigD - I knew I couldn't be the only person feeling this way...

Az- nice job with the hempy threads. Maybe we could get an HB corner in the forums to centralize the info. Q: how long do you veg?

After one-too-many problems with hydro I switched to HB's. The last of my hydro's are in the flower rm, along with my 1st 3 hempy buckets ( 1 NL, 2 Aur Indica). The hempys look great- I'm thoroughly pleased. So pleased, in fact, that I have 5 Afg, 2 NL, 4 snowberry, 4 Sensi Sk, and 10 AK-48, all 1-3 wks from germ, and all in 1 gal hempy buckets. oops- just got 4 Pot of Gold to crack- add those! I'll try real hard to get a camera!

Cool, Plants are looking great. they have really started to grow now, they currently growing there second set of 3 pronge leaves, they have been fed, and will be again, not really sure what sort of PPms I should be aiming for. I have been giving them around 500PPms and they are doing good.

Any way Thanks everyone.

As for systems, I want to see for my self, My main consern is that I want to go away for 2 to 4 days over the summer. If I ortamate a hemoy system, I may as well go ebb and flow. But buy the end of the year I would have compleated a DWC, Ebb and Flow and Hempy grow. I should know what to expect then. I hope any way, who knows what migh go wrong between now and then, but I gess it is all lerning.
