Thnaks, for asking.

They a looking lots better, deffante improvment.

The Papay, have gotten over it compleatly (Tuch wood) and they seem to be growing faster.

The Ice seems to be a bit more perky, still some droop, but deffinatly better.

All the water in the trays had gone, So I put anouther 25Ml in the pots and filled the trays back up to 2mm. I will increase this slowly once I am sure they are okay.

I am growing DWC (Some photos for you 31 days flowing, Ak47) but I want to try Ebb and Flow next. My ex girlfreind will be growing hempy. So In a few months time I should have a pretty good idea of how the diffent systems perform.

The first pic is the ICE, Drooping away, but deffintaly better.
The second is the Papay, which is looking happy.
And there are a few photos of the AK

Not really.

She was the one who got me into growing.
But mainly, it's cool. I'm pretty upset about braking up, I have told her that I can't see her for a while (Other than to check the plants). It wasn't just fling or anything like that, we where togeather for a long time. I am not worried about her in any way.

Update.

The Papaya, is going great, ITnow has 3 prong leaves and the growth rate has really speeded up.

The Ice, is growing, still a little slowly, but it is deffinatly growing. I will check today to see if any roots have met the bottom of the pots yet.

hey glad to hear they are bouncing back... IMHO you should stop disturbing the roots just let them do there thing you may be slowing down your progress, that was the hardest thing for me to learn... its hard not to mess with them.

:) Thanks.

Beacuse they are normal pots in a tray, I can see if the roots have made it to the bottom just by hulding the pot up and looking to see if they are sticking out the bottom yet.
They are, and they are looking better.

So now I will fill the tray around the pots with Expanded Clay Pebles, so that the nute solution is not sitting in the light. this will also help slow evaporation.

Thnaks for everyones help.

Oh, just out of interest, What does "IMHO" mean?

Well, to throw my 2 cents in - I grew ebb&flo for years and gave DWC a try this past grow. Compared to Hempy the other methods (suck!) just don't even come close!!! I am Hempy for life or until they come up with something that doesn't require me to do anything - besides sit and watch my crop grow!!!

And that's not bound to happen!!! I'm just saying...

Well yall are very pesusaive. Color me a Hempy Bucket person too. In fact I just rescued 3 promisng buckets from the trash man. Figger a person growing in a bucket..the first step is to find a bucket. Now is this right or wrong? Anyway they chorline buckets from cement pond adjustment material..shock..pellets etc. That should work I think. Let me know. Especially about the lights. I aint quite figgered that deal out yet. Thanks. My Hab seeds in the Aerogarden are now on the dark cycle. That 5 buck timer from Wally World seems to be doing great. I got the grow lights which come with the AG plus one curly tail CFS 100 Watt clamp on light. I'm trying to figger our how to get another one in there but so far its hard to figger out where to put it. Looking for input here.

Glad you like the setup Big but even you said you have no clue for a ebb and flood table or aero setup as you have not even tried one.I guess if your not worried about knowing what exactly your plants are doing, how you could increase thier yield and just take whatever grows then not watching your ph or even checking your ppm will work for anything. i persoanlly like to know what each starin can be maxed to and then adjust the nutrients to thier max potential for my money.Again not bashing this setup as it seems to work well for those using it.But your are way off on hydro big and it shows with your comments so yeah this way is much better for you as you dont have the knowledge to do a simple flood table as those who fight ph issues apparently arent expirenced yet as my water is ph 7 from the tap and once I add my nutes which have ph buffers in them and add a bit of ph down I adjust my ph maybe once in a week twice in the middle of flower times..You mention timers as being time consuming or work I guess if 1 minute to set your digital timer up is work for 8-8 weeks of growing your right very hard work lol Yes air stones those are time consuming you have to plug it in and your done so thats 30 seconds if you do it reaaalll slow.I just wanted to see the benfits of this type of setup and from what your telling me you have to do its just more work to me to have to water every day or 2.I like to setup and walk away.Oh and vents yeah all vents and co2 are timed too so never have to touch those except once a month or 2 change a co2 tank..Anyways glad its working for you guys but some you hempy guys should smoke a nice bowl relaxe and try to be cordial to people who wanted to learn about your used method instead of being so defensive in answering questions.Good grows to ya

we are very cordial all you do filthy is put negativitivity into peoples post, you do it to the guys with the AG, I like this method have no interest in yours and how or why you do it, and since you have so much great experience in knowlede try HELPING, but you dont do that, its beyond you, didnt you get banned or somehting for a while, another interent tough guy, go flood your tables ,, or go help the guys in the hydro section, there are at least a half dozen post about ph problems, so go ahead do it big, just do in someones elses thread stop hijacking MR Greens Hempy Bucket thread with your bs

and you were right it all sounds so easy I wonder why so many of us have problems with them, guess we arent as smart ass you filthy, oh one question though if the power goes out and all your timers dont work what will you do?? I will just take my little simple bucket out side for some sunshine and then back infor some dark what would you do FIlthy, how would your great grow knowledge overcome a power outage...lol you dont like hempy fine dont use them nobody is asking you too.

Hey guys and gals Chill.

Thanks Big D.

There is no piont in dissing anyones system, I am intersted in every method of growing. For exaple I love hydro, but that doesn't mean I diss organics or soil. There great to.

Hempy seems like a realy nice and simple system, that doesn't mean it's better than any other system of growing, differant things work for differant people in differant situations. The same goes for DWC, Ario, E&F and organics. It's all good.

My plants are looking loads better, I will post some pics thiseveing.

Well Mr. Green Man thanks so much for your reasonable voice and BD's too. I come to places like this to hopefully learn something and have fun in the process. I dont watch much TV:) Just went and checked the AG noticed two lights on which translated to need water and nutes. I changed the water and nuted it up a bit...dropped the ph a time or two. Funny how that thing knew it need nutes huh? I knew it prob need some cuz it aint had none all week...just been topping it off with stale tap water. I am nearly as smart a machine I guess.

Actually that light just means it's been two weeks since it was last reset. It's not that smart.

Well I tell ya. I'm an old cowboy hippy from the 60's who was enjoying a nice hunk of rope while you were still squirting mustard in your pampers..or maybe it was your daddy who was doing the dirty deed. I reserve the right to talk about any and all aspects of the topic. Never claimed to an exspurt nothing. If you can find a passage where I claimed to one..I will glady take it all back..sorta like Hillary and the Kosovo Snipers. Now will lay claim to being an exspurt on naggers since I used to be married to one. If you want to know anything on that subject just let know.

Here are some pics.

I'm really happy. They look loads better, there is still a tiny bit of droop. but it seems as the roots grow more the less it is effective and the better the plants grow. They grew a lot in the last 24 hours.

I added the grow rocks to the water tray today. They will stay like this until they go into there final pots. I will also add some grow rocks to the top so as to stop Algae from growing on the perlight (It seems to love the stuff).

Any way here are a couple of pics of the ICE.

The Papaya is still looking better, but I’m not bothered about that
:)
