So my seedling popped last week, erupted just fine. Now its been just chillin' and not opening. No shell is stuck on it or anything. Still is green, checked the roots, nice color and lots of growth... Any idea whats up? The cotyledons must open!!!

I've had it happen myself and I used a double edge thin razor blade and VERY CAREFULLY get it between the cots and slightly twist and pop them open. I found the seed has some film which glues them together. I'm sure this will be an unpopular remedy but it worked for me and I'm still enjoying the buds from her. Good luck and enjoy.

There is a skin like membrane that encases the cotyledons (first round leafs) if you get some clean tweezers and are very gentle you can peel away that layer and it will open! Take the corners of the tweezers and try to pinch just the edge of the membrane to get a grip and try to peel it away! Good luck getting surgical

It popped, then erupted, now is chillin'?

These are botanical terms I do not understand.

ITS DONE WOOO. They are now apart, didnt open them though, but they are a nice green color inside. Tomorrow I shall see if I somehow killed it. EDIT: I can see two small true leaves as well. Dafaq

You're fine! Let them spread out on their own, the light will pull them apart naturally as they seek it! You do have light on it right?
