one good advantage is thats seed last for a few years it's a great way to catalog ur herb and safeguard ur gentics.

i usually make feminized seeds of my bomb strains. a couple years ago i got busted for shooting at sum rippers in my garden.
now im on parole, but the seeds i made are still viable and now i have another mother (supersilverhaze - skunk #1 X Flo).

this was a female seedling (Molokai x cali indica X Hawaiian Punch '86 x biilberry). I made seeds of my best strain at the time. i crossed the first two and the second two, grew out those seeds and crossed them to make this.

i must say it was sum of the smoothest unique bud to come across every body loved it and i sold sum clones they grew "dank".

The problem though is if one smokes the same strain for a prolong period of time they start building an immunity to that particular strain, not to mention people like variety. I try to have at least 4 different strains going at any given time.
Shenanigans on the immunity.. You're just smoking too much period.. If you want to get high now and then your blood can't constantly be saturated with THC.. Variety is nice no doubt, but this immunity to a strain is BS.. The new high is likely psychosomatic, or at best a reaction to one of the lesser psychoactive cannabinoids that your current strain did not saturate you with..
