Your an ass....

That soil is fine ive grown some happy little ladies in it. It comes with all those wood chips and everything in it.

It is actually a very light and airy soil.

The seed is not "retarded" something happened to that plant and I cant tell what it is.

your humidity should be around 50-60% so its way to low right now and your temps were to high.
No need to call me an ass but from what I have been told Miracle Grow isn't very effective in terms of aeration, slow release nutrients, and the PH it contains. I If the humidity is too low you can always spray the plant a little with fresh water. Six can you give us an update of your plant?

i'll chime in. i always grow with M/G organic soil. i add perlite and it is fine. there's nothing wrong with wood chips, especially if you are going organic with m/c fungi.

it looks like heat and low humidity is the whole problem and it should recover. a bowl of water near the lights and plants might help. also, i know everyone says put cfl's 2" away from plants. but seedlings, up to 2 to 3 weeks old depending on it's size and condition, need to be around 6" away from the bulb.

good luck.

opening up a little. It was way to close to the light. I literally had it like a 1/4 and inch away at one point.. you can see the burned tilted leaf (pisses me off, it wouldn't look so bad if it wasn't for that damn burnt leaf). I thought it wasn't getting enough light.. I now keep them at least 2 inches away and they look to be doing a lot better. Hope this girl keeps getting better.

Edit: I also see the circular leaves are really really frail seem like they are about to fall off? Is this good or bad?

Remember! They're seedlings until they fully develop their first set of fan leaves. Once they do, you can begin to get your lights closer if they are fluorescents.

I think this baby is gonna die.. I see no progress in it's growth. It has been 16 days now and it still looks like a sprout. A seed I planted 8 days later has already outgrown it. Could this be from soil being too bricked up? This MG organic has pretty poor drainage. It seems like only the top inch of soil gets water... starting to really piss me off.

The beginning is always a problem but trust me once you have a plant about 3 weeks old or so its hard to kill it.

The miracle grow soil he is using does not contain time release nutes.

Did you know Fdd uses mircale grow...have you seen his plants?

I deleted the pics after seeing some other posts about ABS I got a little paranoid.. that d-bag.. anyways I will put up three timeline pics tonight they are like 2-3 days apart you would think it's a totally different plant. Now it looks like it's about to take off in growth hopefully..
