Good day Colorado!! Welcome to week 7.

First and foremost, these peanut butter cookies*that I found on the side of the road*
;)
Knocked me on my ass!!. Last night was the first night I've tried them since finding the bag o cookies..
Perfect texture and delicious, and strong as fuck.

So I must thank the person who lost them cookies..

actually..I'm a lil pissed (j/k)..as them were sooooo fucking strong I slept right thru my alarm!!
As of right now, my lights are NOT on a timer, I use my phone to alert me 20 mins before they need to be shut off,

My cycle is 8:30am- 8:30pm (dark)

My alarm is set first@8 am, so I have ample time to inspect, take photos and run my shop vac in the tent.
Water if needed...etc etc.

Woke up, looked at my phone..8:42!!..
Ran out (limped) lol... And turned out the light..THANK GO, I had this instinct that was saying..
” wake up”

Haha..all is good though, thought it was a fun story to share...lol

All-righty-then... Got a bunch of pics!! will probably split them into a few separate posts..

We are getting Real Close!!

Sooooo...I'm beginning to get a bit worried about the super cold tomorrow.

I've got a small space-heater that I've been using it outside of the tent, right next to a side vent and that had been working to keep temps around 65°

Anybody every use a space-heater inside the tent?

The on/off switch glows an orange light, which I could just put tape over..

However, the thing does light up and glow red slightly when the coils are heating...

Can I get some thoughts from y'all?
Like are the coils going to cause any issues with the dark cycle?

Just make sure you can follow the instructions on the unit, most "space heaters" want you to have at least 12 - 24 inches of room before the closest wall or object, and remember you wont be needed to crank it up to the highest setting to keep the room hot... I personally would keep a good eye on everything the first day or two you do it, and I probably wouldn't use it as a permanent heating source all winter (just my thoughts, others may have a different experiences or recommendations)

My only concern would be a fire being started in some way, no real concern (I would think) with the red coils every now and then

Agreed Azh!!

Thanks for the advice my man..

I'm hearing about these radiant heaters, that have no coil, so I'm gonna have to get up way early and find one before I gotta go to work....ugh...fuck work!!

Lol..

Still need the j-o-b for now... Maybe when we get my car paid off in 2 years, I might be able to quit for good.

Damn it to hell....anxiety SUX!!!
Edit: I will not be utilizing the coil style heater while not at home...danger danger!!

Went ahead and bought a” Radiator” style electric heater... No glowing coils!!

Just cranks out heat with electricity like the super old fashioned heaters.

Keeping my entire garage that is not insulted at 64° ...
What really grinds my gears....

They put this short ass cord on the unit to plug in....Then, warnings everywhere” do not use with extension cord”..

” be sure there is at least 3 feet of clearance on each side”

The cord is about 3' long!!!!

Wtf????

Anybody got any suggestions?...
I really need more cord length...
Need advice in the freezing cold garage,
SDA

Probably because that electric heater use a lot of amps, that will over power most extension cords. Just look at the requirements on the heater and get an extension cord that can handle the amps and power. Going to be a very heavy duty cord.

Thank you guys!!

@Chewy... Maybe two weeks left on that particular plant, however, looks like she is gaining speed as she approaches the finish line...

All 3 should be harvested within 3 weeks, with Neville's being last.
@rae...

They did great!!

I'm astonished how much resilience the cannabis plant is..

Pretty sure the temps is what bright out that shade of blue^ up there.

I got more pics to post, but I'll wait til I get home and have a wifi signal.

As always thanks for stopping by :)

Also..

I wanted to discuss this heater a lil more..

It seems too good to be true, but I'm thinking I could put this heater inside my tent.

The only thing that lights up is the power light, which some tape should resolve that.

As this” issue” may force me to stop growing...

Anybody use these in their tent?

As I can't foresee any other means of sustaining a cycle with Colorado winter around the corner.

” High, my name is Sir_dabs, and I'm addicted to growing cannabis”

Doood(s).. I didn't realize how addictive growing can be..it's fucking fun as fuck and challenging to boot.

I feel like it develops fortitude and builds character.

See y'all tonight!!.. Hopefully with fun pictures to see..

This stage of the grow is cray-cray...seems dramatic changes occur every 12 hours.

Welcome to my current run  it seems every time I turn around, something else is there to mess everything up :wall: ... First a pH issue (again) was corrected... now I get attacked by Mites  ... sometimes it's just how the game works, "two steps forward, three back".

Best of luck getting the heat issue fixed, if it's not fixed by the time I get down to see you, we will combine our thoughts and figure something out :peace:
