Just gonna take a guess and say this is a Texas grow... If so, nice job repping our state and good luck! bongsmilie

I took some cuttings from this bushy female and gonna try my hand at some cloning. I was afraid the amount of time from taking the cutting to preparing them was gonna be too much for them to make it. After using mygirls youtube instructions and lots of other research I gave it a go. The only rooting hormone in my area is Green Light powder so hopefully it does the trick. I've got them in a humidity tent (tub) but a little concerned about them being too far from the light. A couple of 23w cfl's. Wish me luck this is new shit for me but I'm inspired. Comments, advice, and critics always welcomed and encouraged. slabhead

Good luck with the clones!!!

I'm guessing your trying to make up for the ones that got eaten. From what I've read the clones should be good under that light to start with. Once they start new growth they might want to start to stretch. But they will probably be going outside at that piont, right? They look real good, keep it up!:bigjoint:

Thanks! Outside yes. I might try to make a mother or two with some cfl's but right now the plan is for another plot. Got my plate pretty full right now with the 4 female sites, the male garden, the seedlings started, and now this cloning experiment. Looks like more 100 degree weather forecast for the next week, grrrr.

The clones are looking pretty good. I kinda like this, having weeks old plants within days and knowing they're all girls. I wish I'd been doing this for years. :wall:

The first pic has the lights on. It looks like all 13 of them are going to make it. :weed:

Oh yeah, I put out the seedlings <the ones that survived the 100+ heat> in a new plot but I'll have to watch them for males since they weren't sexed. That's gonna do it once I have these clones ready to set out. And I need to attend to the male garden to see how they're doing. They might have died since I haven't watered them in a while. But they were in a shady spot for alot of the day.

Thanks mygirls, right now around 50 not counting my male garden with the clones <if they all make it> it'll be 60 or 70 or so, LOL I lose count. It's been tough keeping everything watered during this heat wave drought but so far I haven't lost any. Well there were a couple rabbit attacks. The little bastards!!! Thanks for swinging by.

Watered everything again this morning. 10 gal per trip times 8.34 lbs per gal times 12 trips to water everything was a mere 1000.8 lbs of water. The hardest part though is carrying it up out of the creek bottom, a 5 gal brimming bucket in each hand, up about a 12 ft creekbank, and another 40 to 50 yards through brambles and underbrush to the girls. Trying like hell to be quiet, not spill the water, and keep an eye out for EVERYTHING. LOL, at least the wife says my muscles are looking good. :-) I'm ready for some damn rain!!!

Things are looking good though. Even with everything topped this year four footers are the norm.

yeah thanks. You get better take it easy today. I'm kinda worried about my clones though. A couple of them has the lower fan leaf that was trimmed back yellowing. I'm thinking about gonna give them some fresh air and more light for a bit. Maybe some mild nutes sprayed thru a mister. I'm not used to a humidity dome and might have overwatered them, grrrrr.
