We have held a smoke out rally here in our state on the commons in front of the state house every year since I was like 17 and I'm 34 now. I've always been along with tons of people too many to lock up everybody, there are bands playing music, Norml is there, newspaper and tv, with 100's of people smoking. I've seen a few people locked here and there over the years, but never me or my friends, I think it is because of that moment that now in my state an ounce and under is a $100 fine that you don't even have to pay..lol. And people keep smoking @ the rally and no one is arrested and you won't even get a ticket if you don't leave the rally while smoking. I went to the Million Man March just to help make the numbers and be a part of history...you know a million black men there was some smoking going on..lol. That's all I did until it was time to hit the field it was freezing that morning..lol. I figure over a Million people would show up for marijuana and even with a half a million what can they do but disperse the crowd. It's the same principle as a snoop dogg concert...They are not going to lock snoop and the whole crowd, employee's and security and entourage that are all smoking during the show, it's the person who happens to be right in front of a cop and feels he can just blow his smoke in the air instead of palming his blunt and chilling for a second until he moves on...lol. Nobody is medical like California is medical..lol. I basically would like to see it like Amsterdam with taxes and amount regulations as far as sales and high fines for smoking in public. Buy your smoke legally, smoke it there in the shop or take to a private dwelling. People are not running around Amsterdam crazy or smoking in the streets...it's actually cleaner and I felt safer than on any American street especially when it was time to get some smoke. I was there alone for 3 days before my friends arrived.
I did'nt know marijuana was a vegetable, but if it is I would definately support it being legal as potatoes or coco leaves..lol. Do you think we should be able to grow them as well....they are eaten by people in Peru on a everyday basis, I would think they are veggies..lol. But do you think we should be able to grow coco leaves and do as we desire??? If you don't have some type of regulations in place someone will always try to abuse that little bit of freedom and things will snowball into legalization of XYZ... Actually you can eat cannabis seeds, and they are extremely healthy. There are also alot of other things you can do with the plant aside from smoking it.

Mannnnnnn this is all just hypothetical something to think about while you smoking that fat one/hitting that bong or got your bag of vape in a head lock like myself !!!! I guarantee it becomes the way they go about fixing the deficit 20-30 years down the line. Legalize it on a federal and state level with restrictions (people can't just go crazy growing and selling only legally bought weed would be LEGAL) then TAX it Federally and State tax the hell out of it..lol. Right on, brother! Amen to that. If we use the same rationale about public safety, then we could make it illegal to consume more than 2,000 calories a day, with the threat of hunger and the threat of obesity both being tremendous public safety issues. Oh and don't forget, there are some that are food addicts also, so we must legislate the shit out of them for their own good. Wake up, people! The government only has the power you allow it to have. LET'S ORGANIZE THIS MARCH AND QUIT TALKING ABOUT IT!!!
And once we pick a date, we can invite all the other marijuana enthusiast sites, place ads in High Times, whatever it takes. Friends, I don't know about you, but I'm tired of waiting for the laws to evolve around medical marijuana. We need to be able to grow and use our own cannabis just like the all the other herbs in an herb garden. The only way this is going to change is if we march to de-classify it as a Schedule 1 drug and a controlled substance nationally. All you closet pot-heads, now is the time to stand up and be counted!!!

You have obviously never seen someone on a bad PCP trip I advise you to get away if you do.
