I know that I shouldn't smoke, I know this man.

I've never coughed up blood in my life before until today....It started with a sinus infection, then spread to my lungs. Now I'm coughing up blood in my mucus.

I've already stopped smoking, but do yall think it will be okay to vaporize tonight? Serious question...

Once again, I know what a doctor would tell me. He would say fuck no, drink water and rest and take your antibiotics. I really want some medicine right now, though, not to mention it was helping clear the mucus out of my lungs so much faster!! Thanks for any advice/suggestions/asshole comments!!!

lol damn homie............ make the dankest brownies you've ever had; in times of great need, we need great weed. You'd probably be alright to Vape but honestly... your doctor would say I'm an idiot for suggesting it and you're an idiot for trying it. Bake something and see your doctor in the morning. Everyone who coughs up blood in movies dies within 55 minutes (you'll be okay but you should see your physician). Gooood Luck!

Blood in mucus. Sounds way worse than it probably is. Really when you have a stuffed up nose you tend to mouth breathe and of course the nose and throat are obviously connected. This will lead to irritation and constantly blowing your nose or hocking loogies will irritate the situation. I had a wisdom tooth that was causing me problems and I was sick then one day I woke up, felt some sort of phlem in my throat and when I spit it into the sink it was just blood. No mucus, only blood. I thought I was about to die. Never been so scared in my life.

FWIW I was sick about 2-3 weeks ago, I smoke cigs and bud, I drink and I also work construction(nasty dirty fucking construction sites that you go home and blow black boogers outta your nose) and while I did experience some blood in my mucus, I never got to worried.

It comes down to this. Are you scared for your life? Go to a doctor. If you are wondering if you can smoke some vape...then just go blaze already. Smart money says you arent going to die any time soon. And hey if you are gonna go, get high first so heaven is closer(if you believe in that).

PS - I have chronic bronchitis. IDGAF! Somethings gonna kill me some day...so whatever.

Funny you mention that, this all actually stems from wisdom tooth surgery, where I had an upper molar removed as well. They cut into my sinuses. Got infected. Spread to my lungs. Now I'm here.

I've already seen the doc, people!! I have Amoxycillin, and am taking Sudafed and Guafenesin to help with it. I guess I'm just going to hold out as long as possible, and then hit my vape before bedtime . Carefully.

I remember your tooth surgery post. A friend of mine who is a super-healthy sports trainer will smoke weed from time to time (not cigarettes) and he recently came back from Kilimanjaro with a lung infection and is on a 6-month course of three antibiotics. And he recently vaped because he thought it might help close off the bronchial tubes a little to make him feel a little more comfortable.

I'm not saying this is a substitute for a proper medical diagnosis. I'm just saying a little light vape probably won't hurt you too much and the relief you get in terms of how you feel might be equally important.

i just saw a documentary the other day saying that it can help with removing mucus and helping with asthma. i know for me a few hits and maybe a aspirin is helpful in most cases

It definitely helps loosen the mucus...The blood is what bothers me. But I think it is more bronchitis related than smoking herb related. With that being said, smoking irritates the bronchial tubes, and therefor probably isn't going to make it much better. I'm going to smoke anyway though, I feel like fucking shit.

If only you hadn't gotten dry socket...
Lol.....I've gotten just about every post-operative complication possible, I think. I'm sure if there is another possibility, I will get it within the next week. Just the way my life has been going lately.

I just smoked, and honestly my lungs feel much better now. The blood, in my opinion, was already present, and smoking earlier just loosened the mucus up to where I spit it out and saw it.

It isn't like I smoked cannabis and my lungs started bleeding. Thanks for all the opinions, guys. I've already seen a doctor, and I have antibiotics.

I know that smoking is going to irritate my infection, and possibly slow its healing, but to me, it is completely worth it. I need my medicine.

You are in this mess because you smoked after wisdom teeth extraction in the first place. Quit being a dumbass. You're dry socket is never gonna heal if you keep smoking.

Bro r u sure the blood is from your lungs and not ur throat? I wouldn't push it if I had blood coming from my lungs but throat maybe. Your throat could be raw from coughing and spitting out that infection
I totally feel u when u say smoking bud gets that icky shit out. When my sinus are all fucked up n I'm spitting out the ickies, I usually smoke from my hitter. Nice small hits bro. Avoid the use of any blunts or papers for at least 3-5days till u feel better. From one pot head to another :)
