I came to politics section because this thread was the headline and it looked catchy. Otherwise ill keep my piss and stay out of the other threads dirty pee drinkers. Its a fetish you know to want to take the piss out of sombody. What is it? The term is golden shower but I dunno the name of the fetish if I was retired I would know trust me.

hey, we're just a bunch of overly opinionated stoners, what do you expect. if you're looking for detailed intellectual discussions on the insanity of politics, there are plenty of places to find them. from the practical to the purely philosophical, those places are out there and they teem with just as many nut jobs as you'll find here. even at its worst, this is relaxation compared to those snake pits. if you want to see sheer blood lust, try one of the more frequented anarchist forums and see how even folks of similar philosophies can tear each other up over the most trivial of points. here we don't have to be egg-heads or poli-sci fiends to have our opinions aired (even though their input is always appreciated). here it's all good clean fun, as long as you're willing to take a bit of a beating.

what if we thought of the politics section as the supermax lockdown facility for only us retards. then you can put a disclaimer, *Beware assholes and loud mouths in here, also babies and crazies whiners and slimers welcome enter at your own risk. must bring your armor. cant take the heat stay out of the friction. point of no complainers.

depends on which gang you would want to be in. the first requirement is to unquestionably allow a single media conglomerate or tv/radio personality to dictate your opinion (or rather form an opinion for you.). thankfully whether you're liberal, neoconservative, or libertarian, or just plain batshit, you have easily accessible prefabricated opinions to choose from.
what's great about this is you're guaranteed to get at least a couple of 'me too' posts, because it will turn out that many other people chose the exact same prefabricated opinion.

i don't know, i've gotten stoned with many types of people from different backgrounds and i must say 2 constants have always been:
1-we always discussed...everything.
2-it was always pleasant and civil, never leading to chest-beating and prick-waving.

Personally I think the attacks should be stopped individually by using the infraction system, rather than collectively by blocking out all available areas for politically aligned discussions.
The only thing worse than a expressing a "prefabricated opinion" is not being able to express any opinion.

something else that could be done is open a debate section. that way people who wanna rattle off their jibberish and feel superior behind a computer desk for belittling someone else in the debate section and it could be an enter at your own risk type thing and a rule not to debate outside debate forums just like you dont post questions about growing in the chat room

I am all for cleaning up this site. Get 5 mods in here and ban some people, but I know who would be first on the list....
You will say it's because of your political beliefs, but it has nothing to do with politics.
