Gunna take the plunge and build an 8x4 ebb and flow table. So i guess ill need an 8x4 table and....what else?

(Im thinking id like to keep the res out of the tent as my basement stays at a very handy 64f to 68f ambient temp all year long, which i believe is ideal.)

So parts list?

Stand for the table, 200L res minimum for that size table, pump, flood n drain fittings, flexible tube to fit flood and drain.

It is much more convenient to have the res under the table so you can just drain straight into it and also oxygenate the res.

If you go full hydro with clay pellets you can flood hourly and no need for air pump in res. Also if you do a sterile res and use H2O2 no need to worry about res temperatures.

Cant beat flood and rain for pure simplicity imo.

Good luck!

Thanks. I guess my original question could have been better. I was high...lol

So to be more specific...what size should the pump be for a 4x8 ideally? Or rather how many gallons per minute?

And what diameter for flood hose and drain hose is best?

We use the metric system but I use 1000L pumps and they fill the trays fast. I need to reduce the flow a bit.

And your tubing sizes will depend on your fittings but standard is 12mm flood and 19mm drain.

Cheers.
