start flower with mh

OK thanks to a freind i am on my first grow in 7 years. The pics are a week old dropped camera in water. I will be getting a new one 2nite. They are wonder woman (awesome plant)The veg room is getting out of hand and my main question is can i start the flower on a 1000 mh. Then move to 1000hps. I also use bushmaster the first day of flower. Any help out there? Would also like to say thank you to the sight i have been reading since i joined. Once again thanks in advance for any help. T Roy

ive seen it done for a short time, in the flowering stage the plant is strating to consume energy that a mh bulb doesn't really cover. The HPS's spectrum is what it really needs and may not really show to much sign of growth til you get the hps put in. How long would it take you to get one?

I have 1 but the flower room is full and still about 1 - 2 weeks away from harvest. I dont raely want to buy another hps now. How can i stunt the veg growth for 1-2 weeks then. thank you in advance.

Just switch over to 12/12 on the mh, in 2 weeks put in the hps. I run my mh a couple hours a day during flower. 8-9 hps and 3-5 mh. Just my .02

2 weeks 12/12 under mh will be fine. just be sure to get them under hps as soon as you can.

if your worried toss some cfls in to help spectrum
